INDOT: Reported fatal crash involving dump truck in Hancock County

HANCOCK COUNTY, Ind. -- A reported fatal crash in Hancock County blocked lanes on State Road 234 on Monday morning.




According to officials with the Indiana Department of Transportation, all lanes are blocked on State Road 234 between Fortville Pike and Meridian Road because of the crash. County officials said this is near 50 West and State Road 234.




INDOT officials said that the lanes were blocked due to a crash involving a dump truck with one confirmed fatality. The area is expected to be closed for investigation "for an unknown length of time."
