Congrats! Chanel Iman & Her Fiancé Davon Godchaux Welcome Their First Child Together! (Photos)

Chanel Iman has given birth to her and her fiancé, Davon Godchaux’s first child together. As The Shade Room previously reported, the couple announced their engagement in May.



Additionally, the pair revealed that they were expecting earlier that month.

On Tuesday, the couple took to Instagram to share a joint post. The post featured a photo of Iman sitting in a hospital bed as Godchaux wrapped his arm around her and the pair embraced their newborn daughter.



In the post’s caption, the couple revealed the infant’s name.

On Tuesday, Godchaux also took to his Instagram Story to share a photo of two Polaroid pictures taken of Iman and himself with their new baby girl. Check the images out below!

A Brief Look Back On The Couple’s Relationship & Blended Family

As The Shade Room previously reported, Iman was previously married to NFL player Sterling Shepard. However, after four years, Shepard filed for divorce in June 2021, as per Page Six.



According to US Weekly, Iman and Godchaux went public with their relationship in April 2022. Later that month, a judge signed off on Iman and Shepard’s Marital Settlement Agreement. This finalized Iman and Shepard’s divorce just days before Iman and Godchaux revealed that they were expecting their first child together, as per The Shade Room.

Later that month, the couple revealed they were expecting a baby girl.

Then, before the close of May 2023, the couple revealed they became engaged in Capri, Italy. This may have been the inspiration behind their newborn daughter’s name.

Outside of the couple’s latest addition, Chanel Iman is also a mother to two girls she shares with Shepard. Additionally, Godchaux fathers a son from a previous relationship.
