103.7 Da Beat Artist Spotlight-Blaq A Don

In the streets of Cleveland life was nothing less than a struggle for "Blaqadon" at an early age
facing foster care with no father in his life and mother abusing drugs "Blaqadon" was sent to live
with his grandmother in Cleveland''s 1st ward. Troubled "Blaqadon" would go on to have
numerous encounters with the law serving two brief stints in the youth detention center in
Hudson, Ohio but his trouble wouldn''t end there. At age 20 "Blaqadon" was stabbed numerous
times including once in the chest just an inch from his heart. With warrants In his name for
weapons possession "Blaqadon" went straight from a hospital bed to Belmont correctional
facility to serve one year in prison. With everything going wrong and extra time on his hands
"Blaqadon" would go on to seek refuge in music often beating on the walls of the cell block
reciting raps he wrote in his time spent. Released from prison May 25th 2011 "Blaqadon" would
take on numerous jobs looking to find his way into the rap industry. Often promoting at local
bars and club and selling music out the trunk of his car. In 2014 Blaqadon and his team would
go on to sell 30 thousand units of there personal project in the inner city of Cleveland alone.
With no direct link to the rap industry "Blaqadon" continued selling his music and doing local
shows in hopes of being heard. "Blaqadon" then Team up with another promising local artist
"Crash Diggz" seasoned and eager to out work the competition "Blaqadon" is set to release up
coming project "Punisher"
