Antoine's music has a depth so often disregard by today's artists in their quest to get to the top. In Dunn's music, you will find musical mastery that will leave a lasting impression on the industry. In each song he writes, he shares his story of truth and passion. The expressions of his heart can be heard in every note and every lyric of his songs. His understanding of every element of the music he creates provides the cohesion to turn those notes into a symphony. Presented live, the magic of his music is amplified as he delivers his songs with a sincerity and spirit that draws every listener into a sense of familiarity. He does not try to present an image; he portrays his true self and his true expression through the authenticity of his performance.
Antoine Dunn's early musical explorations were fostered by his aunt, Veronica Dunn. Her career as a professional gospel singer provided her the insight to see and support the musical genius he exhibited at a very young age. Through his youth his voice garnered him great attention as he won various awards and had the opportunity to perform throughout the United States and the Bahamas. By the age of 17, Dunn was bestowed the opportunity to be the Cuyahoga Community Church's Minister of Music, where he directed for three years.
Already an accomplished vocalist, pianist and songwriter, Dunn taught himself to play the drums and bass guitar. This ability to play the role of every element of the music he creates provides a depth that is conveyed in every project on which he embarks. In recent years he has worked as a songwriter for the Dallas-based company, Love Songs for Sale, received vocal production credits on 2007 American Idol Finalist Lakisha Jones' freshman album, and brought his talents to the shores of Thailand for a six-month tour. After his return to the states early in the year, Spring 2011 found him sharing the stage with such artists as Musiq Soulchild and Avant, as well as earning a spot as a finalist in the Aruba Soulbeach Music Festival Contest sponsored by BlackPlanet.com. In August 2011, Antoine Dunn signed a deal with Elite Music Group Incorporated and began work on his debut album; as yet untitled, his album is slated for release in the first quarter of 2012.
"Music isn't what I do, it's who I am. I feel it is my professionalism, my uniqueness and commitment to my music that makes me stand-alone. Coming out of a city saturated with rap, I am moved to bring passion and authenticity back to music

It was DEFINITELY a bad idea for this Cleveland couple to wear their LeBron James Miami Heat jerseys to a baseball game in Cleveland last night. When they showed up at the stadium in their Heat attire, a mob formed and the couple was quickly escorted out of the ballpark by police before any violence ensued.
What really ticks me off is how the law actually did not say anything to the fans to calm them down. Why did the couple have to leave the game? Wouldn't it have been more polite to ask the fans to shut up or get out than this poor couple?
Dear Cleveland, All Of Northeast Ohio and Cleveland Cavaliers Supporters Wherever You May Be Tonight;
As you now know, our former hero, who grew up in the very region that he deserted this evening, is no longer a Cleveland Cavalier.
This was announced with a several day, narcissistic, self-promotional build-up culminating with a national TV special of his "decision" unlike anything ever "witnessed" in the history of sports and probably the history of entertainment.
Clearly, this is bitterly disappointing to all of us.
The good news is that the ownership team and the rest of the hard-working, loyal, and driven staff over here at your hometown Cavaliers have not betrayed you nor NEVER will betray you.
There is so much more to tell you about the events of the recent past and our more than exciting future. Over the next several days and weeks, we will be communicating much of that to you.
You simply don't deserve this kind of cowardly betrayal.
You have given so much and deserve so much more.
In the meantime, I want to make one statement to you tonight:
"I PERSONALLY GUARANTEE THAT THE CLEVELAND CAVALIERS WILL WIN AN NBA CHAMPIONSHIP BEFORE THE SELF-TITLED FORMER 'KING' WINS ONE"
You can take it to the bank.
If you thought we were motivated before tonight to bring the hardware to Cleveland, I can tell you that this shameful display of selfishness and betrayal by one of our very own has shifted our "motivation" to previously unknown and previously never experienced levels.
Some people think they should go to heaven but NOT have to die to get there.
Sorry, but that's simply not how it works.
This shocking act of disloyalty from our home grown "chosen one" sends the exact opposite lesson of what we would want our children to learn. And "who" we would want them to grow-up to become.
But the good news is that this heartless and callous action can only serve as the antidote to the so-called "curse" on Cleveland, Ohio.
The self-declared former "King" will be taking the "curse" with him down south. And until he does "right" by Cleveland and Ohio, James (and the town where he plays) will unfortunately own this dreaded spell and bad karma.
Just watch.
Sleep well, Cleveland.
Tomorrow is a new and much brighter day....
I PROMISE you that our energy, focus, capital, knowledge and experience will be directed at one thing and one thing only:
DELIVERING YOU the championship you have long deserved and is long overdue....
According to various reports, Cleveland Cavaliers player LeBron James' teammate Delonte West is rumored to have been intimate with LeBron James' mother, Gloria James. Apparently this relationship has been going on for awhile now.
It is also being reported that LeBron James discovered that Delonte West was sleeping with his mother right before game 4 and that is why the team was not playing unified. Did anyone notice that LeBron James was just not playing ball like his usual self after games 4? Did you notice that even Delonte was playing badly?
According to various sources, Braylon Edwards allegedly punched Edward Givens, a good friend of Lebron James, outside a Cleveland nightclub. In lieu of the incident, Lebron issued the following statement:
He's (Givens) a good friend of mine. The situation is sensitive right now. But it is unfortunate. Hopefully my friend is doing well at this point.
It is unfortunate when something like this happens at someone's work place. My friend, that is where he works, and it is unfortunate that it happened there.
I've never crossed paths with Braylon before but it seems like there is a little jealously going on with Braylon and me and my friends. I have no idea why. I've never said anything to Braylon at all. For him to do that I think is very childish. My friend is 130 pounds, seriously it is like hitting one of my kids or something like that. It doesn't make sense but the right people will take care of it.
It hits home for me when I hear something like that at 7 a.m. in the morning when I get up for work.
I know how to handle myself as a professional athlete and I take care of my friends and my family. It is unfortunate that some guys don't understand that. You are a role model to kids and you should carry yourself that way on and off the field. And I carry that. I'm not going to do anything to jeopardize myself or my family. I'm one of the guys that look at being a professional athlete at more than just being out on the court.
Broadcast premieres resumed Sunday with the series debut of Fox's "The Cleveland Show" (big), the return of ABC's "Desperate Housewives" (big, yet down drastically from last year) and the 15th edition of CBS' "Amazing Race" (not particularly big, yet matching last fall).
The biggest show of the pack was NBC's "Sunday Night Football," Indianapolis at Arizona, which drew (very roughly) 14.1 million viewers and a 5.6 preliminary adults 18-49 rating.
Fox placed second in the adult demo and generated nearly across-the-board time-period increases. The Seth MacFarlane-produced titles all gained, but veteran "Simpsons (8.2 million, 4.2) slipped a slight 7% from last year ("Simpsons" was aided by an NFL lead-in last fall, however, and this is, after all, the show's 21st season). "Cleveland" (9.4 million, 4.9) was up 44% from "King of the Hill" last year. "Family Guy" (10.2 million, 5.2) was also up, climbing 16%. "American Dad" (7.1 million, 3.6) was up 13%. "Family Guy" and "Cleveland" were the highest-rated scripted TV shows Sunday night ("Cleveland," by and by, also tops the list of the most-pirated TV shows).
CBS edged out ABC for third place thanks to some NFL overrun which impacted its primetime numbers. "60 Minutes" (11.7 million, 3.3) and an on par two-hour "Amazing Race" (9.2 million, 3.2) will likely shift in the nationals. The premiere of "Cold Case" (8.4 million, 1.9) was down 30% if its national rating matches this early number.
ABC likewise had four hours of premieres, each posting significant declines. ABC started with two episodes of "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" (7.3 million and 10.5 million, 2.1 and 3.1), the latter hour falling 16%. "Desperate Housewives" (13.2 million, 4.5) dropped 37% from last fall. "Brothers & Sisters" (9.3 million, 3.0) fell 35%. For both "Housewives" and "Brothers," this is their lowest-rated debuts to date.
CLEVELAND - A boyhood home of writer Langston Hughes has been sold in foreclosure in Cleveland.
The 2 1/2-story, wood-frame house on the city's east side was sold at a sheriff's auction in February for $16,667. Wells Fargo bank plans to put the house on the market.
Hughes was born in Joplin, Mo., and lived in Lincoln, Ill., before moving into the Cleveland house as a teenager around 1917. It was during his time at Cleveland's Central High School when Hughes saw his work published in the school magazine.
The Academy of American Poets says his novels, plays and poems displayed insightful portrayals of black life in America. He died in 1967 in New York City, where his Harlem residence has landmark status.
Rapper joins Taraji P. Henson, Sanaa Lathan as guest voice on 'Family Guy' spinoff
Less than 24 hours after performing live on "American Idol," Kanye West was sitting between Oscar nominee Taraji P. Henson and Sanaa Lathan at a table read for the forthcoming animated sitcom "The Cleveland Show," reports People.com.
"It was surprising to us that he was so into it that he came to the table [read], and wonderfully surprising how cool he was, how funny he was and how unassuming he was," says executive producer Mike Henry, who voices Cleveland Brown and other characters on the show. "He's just a great presence."
