8mm Cover Art
I enjoy seeing creative people, well be creative simple right. Well Ivan Ives is a creative individual a Hip Hop artist born in Russia but raised in LA. He not only gets behind the microphone but also holds the video camera. This track "8mm" produced by RJD2 is a reflective song that takes you down memory lane with Ivan. One of the coolest things is he shot this video with his Iphone using the 8mm app enjoy!
Click here to view the video on YouTube.
"8mm" is a song about trying to catalog lost memories on 8mm film," says Ivan. "It plays in four chapters: Love, Time, Work, Fate. It was entirely on an iPhone with the 8mm app."

The much anticipated debut album by the multi-talented artist, Rahkua, is now available for the listening pleasure of all music lovers combined.
inTouch had an opportunity to catch up with the actress/model/singer prior to the official release for an exclusive.
inTouch: Rahkua, thank you so much for making time for us in the midst of your final stretch in the recording studio for Love, Loss, Lies. What do you have in store for your listening audience with this new album.
Rahkua: The album will take listeners on a deep journey of love, loss, and lies as it relates to relationships.
inTouch: Love, Loss, Lies is there a story behind the title?
Rahkua: Really, it is based on a cycle in relationships I have observed for years. First, the couple seems so much in love; neither can do any wrong. It's all great. Then subtle untruths seep into play and before you know it cheating occurs on both ends. And, inevitably there is a sense of loss, a change comes which leads to a breaking point.
inTouch: I know many people can relate. Did you pull from personal experiences?
Rahkua: I truly believe every strong songwriter in some way draws from personal accounts. The album is definitely not autobiographical but it does pull from a personal truth.
inTouch: Tell us about a track on the album that may push the envelope a bit.
Rahkua: -911- I drew from my psychology background and explored a classic tale of a woman scorned. In the song a woman kills her mate and his lover. I definitely drew from a different mind which I had studied in the past.
inTouch: Very interesting to say the least. Have you had an opportunity to sample some of your new music with audiences yet?
Rahkua: I traveled home to Jackson, MS for a pre-release performance and the reception I received was priceless. We filled the venue, So Wired, and it was a very jazzy and intimate feel. The love and support was evident. Jackson, MS will always be my home.
inTouch: That had to be a special moment for you that I am certain will always be a warm memory. Speaking of homes, it wasn't too long ago that you were a New Yorker. Did you enjoy your time spent there?
Rahkua: The City afforded me with many opportunities that I will always be thankful for. However, I do not regret leaving. New York had too many "too's." Too cold- Too dirty- Too hot-" as she chuckles about the her life in the big apple.
inTouch: Too many too's classic! Rahkua, I so admire your genuine spirit. You have ripped the runways of New York and Los Angeles during the highly sought after Fashion Week events, studied drama at the acclaimed New York University, and now on the verge of releasing your debut album. How do you stay centered?
Rahkua: I believe in a higher power. God is my number one pillar of strength. I, also, take moments to release and relax.
inTouch: Do you mind sharing what helps you to release and relax?
Rahkua: Of course, I enjoy listening to a variety of music. I, also, enjoy fun mobile games. The simple things can serve as mini escapes from my every day, deadlines, and production demands.
inTouch: Rahkua, you have limitless gifts and potential. We all look forward to the release of Love, Loss, Lies. All the best.
