If you follow Big Boi on twitter like I do then you should already have an idea of his political views. Personally I find myself having more in common with Big Boi's political views than most people which is one of the primary reasons I do follow him on twitter. I don't follow many artists on twitter unless they do have something significant to say or if they are able to bring my attention to something important other than "entertainment". I'm an independent & I agree with many of the views of the Libertarian party although I don't have any political affiliations with ANY political party. In the last presidential election my views fell in line more with candidates like Jill Stein or Gary Johnson more than President Barack Obama, but unfortunately the way the American political process works it was clear to me Jill Stein & Gary Johnson didn't have a shot at actually winning. Although more independent voices are cropping up over the past decade the reality is until there is significant campaign reform candidates like them many never have a real shot. In an ideal world I would have voted for either of those two, but I feel wasting a vote on a candidate that is unable to actually win played a huge part in my personal decision & voting for Mitt Romney was entirely out of the question. In a recent interview on HuffPost Live, Big Boi sets the record straight for people who "assumed" he voted for President Barack Obama in addition to a few other hot button topics. Check out more of the interview in the videos below after the jump.....

Robert De Niro Tells Jay-Z He Is 'Rude' & 'Disrespectful' For Not Returning His Phone Calls?
Diddy Guest Stars On It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia [VIDEO]
Take note, Robert De Niro considers anyone not returning his phone calls as a sign of disrespect, no matter who you are. Jay-Z learned this first hand when the Oscar winning actor told the Grammy winning actor how he really felt at a Leonardo DiCaprio birthday party in NYC.
The New York Post reports the two giants in their respective field's crossed paths at the party held at The Darby. While Hova tried to be cordial, sources say DeNiro was frosty. The source of the tension is Jay allegedly ducking Bob's calls after offering to contribute music to the TriBeCa Film Festival.
'Bob was sitting at a table, and when Jay-Z went over to say hello, De Niro told Jay that he never called him back,' said the source.
Another source added, 'Bob wasn't in any mood to make polite conversation. He told Jay that if somebody calls you six times, you call them back. It doesn't matter who you are, that is just rude.'
Even Jigga trying to make light of his faux pas, and his wife coming by to help cool things down, couldn't sway Deniro. 'Beyonce came over, but that didn't calm Bob down,' said the source. 'It was the talk of the party. Everyone was saying there's only one star in New York bigger and badder than Jay-Z, and that's Robert De Niro. He can be quite scary when he's angry.'
Both De Niro and Jay-Z reps declined comment so at the moment only those two know what was exactly said. Safe bet that if De Niro does ever call again, Hova will hit him right back on the jack.
It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia knows how to make anything funny, even cancer.
In this episode, which guest starred Sean 'Diddy' Combs, he grabs a guitar to perform the classic Parliament song 'We Want the Funk.' He throws in the hilarious line 'We're gonna turn this cancer out!'
This isn't the first time Diddy's made a comedic turn, as he starred in the movie, Get Him To The Greek.
Andre 3000 sat down with FUSE to give a rare interview shedding light on Gillette's Movember campaign and to talk music.
With Big Boi in town to promote his new album, Vicious Lies And Dangerous Rumors, he spoke about how proud he was of 'Twan's solo success. 'Since he started working on it he comes by and plays songs every couple of weeks. He's finally wrapped it up,' Stacks says about Big Boi.
'I'm proud of that dude man, We started as two people and I know how hard it is to write your own raps. It's different today because a lot of people don't write their own raps, and there is nothing wrong with that because we love the songs. To do it all yourself is pretty heavy.'
Oh, and to bust your bubble, a solo album isn't coming and an Outkast album is still not on the horizon.
Been a long time coming... two of the South's premier rappers, T.I. and Andre 3000, gang up on a track entitled "Sorry." Dope! Of course, Andre speaks on that, Outkast, and several other matters of importance; including raising awareness for prostate cancer (the "Movember" cause for the month). Good clip. Click above and watch.
It's never a dull moment when Andre' 3000 jumps on your favorite artist track, which makes him the King of collaborations. The elusive rapper gives an in-depth interview about his collaboration with T.I.
Dre also breaks down what the term "Shitting On Me, On My Own Record" means, discusses Big Boi's forthcoming album, Vicious Lies And Dangerous Rumours and what the future looks like for OutKast.
..Everybody nowadays in RAP MUSIC make the dope game so appealing to us (meaning our youth), like a beautiful woman. However, they only show you her beauty.
They don't show the other side, how UGLY she can get, how men will trade in that friendship with you just for the love of her. How your best friend will rat you out, or even kill you to get ahead in the game. It's sick.
They only focus on one side of the lifestyle the dope game "she" affords them. But in the end, the games an ugly BITCH! I lived it bleed, I can't handicap my folk. I can't sell you a seemingly flawless car (on the outside), and not tell you the engine is soon to fall out the bottom of that bitch...
Big Boi Performs At Outside Lands Festival, Says His DJ Owes Him $80K
Team USA Basketball's Gold Beats By Dre Studio Headphones
Just in case you haven't been paying attention, the good Big Boi is prepping his sophomore album, Vicious Lies & Dangerous Rumors. The ATL rap legend's new album isn't in stores until November 13th, but he's been performing in various spots to make sure people know at least one half of OutKast can still be readily found rocking a stage. Recently, the man born Antwan Patton hit the stage of the Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival in San Francisco, California.
Big Boi was actually supposed to perform at Outside Lands last year, but there were some unforeseen circumstances that left his DJ owing him 80 stacks. 'My DJ Cutmaster Swiff, his computer...or whatever his equipment he has to play the music froze up. Mind you I gave this ni--a a budget to get three computers to have a back up and a back up to back up the back up. So he f-cked up about $80,000 cause we couldn't do the show. So, the ni--a paying it back, slowly but surely.'
It's all love with Swiff (who contends the show could have still gone on) and Daddy Fat Saxx, though. The latter does crack a joke about Swift eventually having to DJ for the "General Patton" rapper's kids, too. Check out some photos of Big Boi handling his business in front of the crowd in the gallery and behind the scenes footage in the clip below.
Last Sunday, Team USA's Men's Basketball squad of elite NBA players took home the gold at the London Olympics by beating Spain. Besides earning shiny gold medals, the players were also laced with custom gold Beats By Dre headphones after their W. We saw LeBron James rocking his at afterparty that featured Swizz Beatz and Nas.
The custom heaphones are the Studio models and unfortunately you won't be able to ever find them in stores. The custom headphones were strictly made for Team USA so unless you were in London hooping with Kobe Bryant, Carmelo Anthony and the rest of team USA, you can only admire these from afar.
Nas' standout record on his incredible album, Life Is Good, is getting the visual treatment courtesy of Aristotle. The most talked about song, 'Bye Baby' which encapsulates the highs and lows of the marriage to his estranged wife, Kelis.
The song is produced by Salaam Remi and Noah '40' Shebib, and from what we can gather from these behind the scenes photos from BAM, this one looks like it will hit close to home.
This will be the fourth video off of Nas' album following 'The Don,' 'Nasty,' and 'Daughters.' Hit the jump and check out the behind the scenes photos for the video to 'Bye Baby.' Don't blow a good thing.
