A Whole Lotta A! Is that the W...? (Live From... Episode 4)

It could have been! The taping event for Episode 4 had been dubbed "The Invasion of Athens." But we are "live" not "evil" (which is just the opposite... if you REALLY think about it), so we went with "A Whole Lotta A," as guest artists from our Live From...Birmingham (Alabama) show, joined by some Atlanta artists, would be welcomed to Tasty World in Athens (Georgia), by Laura and Wil of Mantooth Music, to tape Live From... in Athens (e.g. Live From...Athens)!

Aaaaa...So much LOVE (we love our Mantooth Music Family); and so much LOVELY - as first guest AMY BRAY brought MODELS with her (rowwwrrr)! And our lovely hostess GEM AVERY kept the show flowing into our musical segment featuring spirit-filled gospel quintet THE WARDLAW BROTHERS (aka TWB5)!

Oh what a night!

According to various sources, Braylon Edwards allegedly punched Edward Givens, a good friend of Lebron James, outside a Cleveland nightclub. In lieu of the incident, Lebron issued the following statement:

He's (Givens) a good friend of mine. The situation is sensitive right now. But it is unfortunate. Hopefully my friend is doing well at this point.

It is unfortunate when something like this happens at someone's work place. My friend, that is where he works, and it is unfortunate that it happened there.

I've never crossed paths with Braylon before but it seems like there is a little jealously going on with Braylon and me and my friends. I have no idea why. I've never said anything to Braylon at all. For him to do that I think is very childish. My friend is 130 pounds, seriously it is like hitting one of my kids or something like that. It doesn't make sense but the right people will take care of it.

It hits home for me when I hear something like that at 7 a.m. in the morning when I get up for work.

I know how to handle myself as a professional athlete and I take care of my friends and my family. It is unfortunate that some guys don't understand that. You are a role model to kids and you should carry yourself that way on and off the field. And I carry that. I'm not going to do anything to jeopardize myself or my family. I'm one of the guys that look at being a professional athlete at more than just being out on the court.
