A total of 10 buses were stopped at the Ambassador Bridge, which separates Windsor, Canada and Detroit. Inspectors smelled marijuana on one of the buses and initiated a secondary, bus-to-bus search. Inspectors then brought drug-sniffing dogs on board, and one of them made a beeline for a passenger and authorities found he was in possession of pot. We're told he was cited with a civil penalty. Rihanna was not on any of the buses.

According to various reports, actor Michael Douglas' son, Cameron, has taken a few beatings at the hands of other inmates while he serves time for drug trafficking and usage. Allegedly he's had his fingers and one of his legs broken as retaliation for snitching to get a shorter sentence.
Originally set to serve 5 years, he had an additional 4 1/2 years added for attempting to smuggle drugs into the prison.

NEW YORK - "American Idol" winner Fantasia Barrino said she intended to take her own life when she overdosed on aspirin and sleeping pills two weeks ago, according to a TV interview released on Monday.
"I didn't have any fight in me. I didn't care about anything. I just wanted out," the "American Idol" winner, 26, told U.S. cable channel VH1 in an interview to be aired on Tuesday. Celebrity magazine website People.com ran advance excerpts on Monday.
The R&B singer, who won the TV singing contest in 2004, took an overdose after being named in divorce papers filed by the wife of her long-time boyfriend and was overwhelmed by media attention.
"I just sat in the closet and looked at the mirror and took all the pills in the bottle," Fantasia said in the interview. "I wanted to go to sleep and just be at peace. I knew exactly what I was doing. You can't accidentally take a whole bottle of pills."
She thanked the nurse that helped her after her overdose, saying she had been "a blessing."
Fantasia was taken to a North Carolina hospital after overdosing and released several days later. She issued a statement saying she was "heartbroken" over the relationship and sorry for any pain she had caused.
She releases her third album, Back to Me, on Tuesday.
MADRID — Air pollution has long been a fact of life in Spanish cities, but scientists now say it is not just smog that chokes people as they walk to work or stroll through the park. A new study has found the air in Madrid and Barcelona is also laced with at least five drugs — most prominently cocaine.
The Superior Council of Scientific Investigations, a government scientific institute, said on its Web site Thursday that in addition to cocaine, they found trace amounts of amphetamines, opiates, cannabinoids and lysergic acid —a relative of LSD — in two air-quality control stations, one in each city.
The group said the findings would be published in the U.S. journal Analytical Chemistry.
Despite the findings, the council said there was no reason for alarm.
“Not even if we lived for a thousand years would we consume the equivalent of a dose of cocaine by breathing this air,” scientist Miren Lopez de Alda said in a statement.
The scientific group stressed that “in no case should these levels be considered representative of the air in the two cities.” It said the tests were done in areas where drugs were likely to be consumed.
Former Clipse manager and nightclub owner Anthony "Geezy” Gonzalez has been charged in U.S. District Court with running a $10 million a year drug ring.
According to federal documents, Gonzalez’s 6 year drug empire has allegedly moved 100 pounds of cocaine and over a ton of marijuana through Hampton Roads, Virginia since 2003.
Authorities suspect Gonzalez imported the drugs from Panama Florida, California, and Arizona.
The 82-count indictment states that Gonzalez laundered drug money through several front businesses, including the Clipse’s booking agency Soul Providers Management.
