Kanye West has finally after 3 long years broken his media silence with a lengthy interview with the New York Times. The interview which talks about all kinds of different aspects throughout the artists career, come on the heels of his 6th studio album "Yeezus" due out on June 18th.
"I'm still just a kid learning about minimalism..." West says when speaking about his new album, "This album is moments that I haven't done before, like just my voice and drums. What people call a rant - but put it next to just a drumbeat, and it cuts to the level of, like, Run-D.M.C. or KRS-One." Visceral, in a word, is he used to describe the sound of the album.

The Huffington Post Says,
That a credible source chatted them up and Rihanna has been working on contracts with Top Shop and its parent company, Arcadia Group. TopShop just started selling a shirt with her image on it. Topshops says that they own the image and that they purchased the image from the photographer. However, they did not pay to use the images to resell her image and they did not pay, "artist licensing fees."
This means that Rihanna would not get paid on the sale of her own image. This is not sitting well with Rih-Rih and her team.

Macy's hosted an American Icon celebration throughout their stores nationwide.
It was a beautiful sea of Red, White and Blue celebrating American Legends. ClassyBlackGirl.com attended the celebration in the San Francisco Union Square Macy's and our team had a blast, but the most fun for us to be had was in the posh Demo Kitchen!
The American Icon Celebration started at 5:30 pm on the Lower Level of Macy's in the kitchen studio! Kitchen Aid Culinary Expert, Deb Slater, showed us how to use the multi-purpose Artisan Stand Mixer!
We watched as Deb created 3 delicious recipes: The Red White and Blue Pasta Salad, The Red White and Blue Cole Slaw and The Red White and Blue Vanilla Wafer Cheesecake Tartlets! They were quick creations and so positively tasty! I had never thought about how much of an American Icon our food is, but it truly is! Everything that we do as Americans that is of any substance is always surrounded by our good food-stemming from all of the cultures that create our American Cultural Soup!
Macy's and Kitchen Aid are also currently raffling off a beautiful stand mixer decorated with a beautifully painted American Flag, designed by world class artist, Dean Loucks. This was totally gorgeous and I certainly hope to win!! Every Classy Black Girl wants one of these high end mixers in one of those FAB Colors on their countertops!
We ascended up to the 3rd floor and were greeted by a DIY Nail Salon, a Candy Bar and Delicious Drinks!!
Then we sat front row center to check out the Fab Fashion Showcase of three of American Icons in the fashion industry. The fashion show gave us fresh looks on how to do summertime fashionably!!

Male Model Mashup at Macys This Saturday bloggers, fashion mavens and male models gathered on the 3rd floor of the Macy's Men's Store! We are all excitedly checking out the Details Magazine event! Male models all over the Northern California area worked it for the opportunity to represent the San Francisco market in the Macy's spread that will be featured in the August issue of Details Magazine for men. There will be a winner from four major markets: San Francisco, Miami, New York and Chicago.
Kirby Duncan, well dressed and handsome, integrated marketing manager, for Details welcomed everyone and kept the party going. DJ Jay Bee was rocking the house and man after man stepped on the stage with their own numbers. It was as if the 3rd floor had been transformed into a male modeling agency and we got to see behind the scene moments between the photographer and the models.
I cannot wait until the men are selected and the world gets to see who the San Francisco Details male model is!
Beautiful new lines of clothes for the upcoming seasons were showcased from Diesel and Kenneth Cole Reaction.
And down on the 1st floor Steven Norman Long, musician and singer, was sharing his bass music. It was an amazing San Francisco Saturday and the men were positively gorgeous!
