J. Keys - "Vodka & Vegetables" (Freestyle) [Free Download] @JKeysMusic

J. Keys spazzes, dropping a calculated lyrical rant that just happens to make a lot of sense. Keys pokes fun at those that often seek to put a label on his music. Fueled by the high powered Eddie Kendricks sample via Kariem Riggins, lyrically Keys delivers as always promising KeymoTherapy is on the way.

J. Keys - "Luv U Leavin' (Freestyle)" [Free Download] @JKeysMusic

J. Keys delivers yet another heater. This one is powered by the sounds of late Detroit brethren Dilla. "Wake up calls and alarm clocks to everyone that slept on!!" If this is any indication of what we can expect from KeymoTherapy, we are in for some fire.

Lyrics: J. Keys - "I.O.U." (Remix)

I can't repay you I'm forever in your debt
Retracing my steps thanking God for the day we met
A lot other women came and left
Or maybe that was me that did, well never the less
I was off course too much clouding my sight
Destructive but gifted like Denzel in flight
Had a pattern for back sliding till you came into my life
Knew the second I met you I had come to meet my wife
Now I know that's not the hot thing for a rapper to say right now
But I'm a grown man so can't come out and play right now
Games are for children like I used be I'm off that
Playas have the strongest women but be like damn I lost that
So keep playing like you too cool for love
Soon you 42 with 24 year olds up in the club
And they just wanna drink up off yo bottle
Talking about who they party with telling you how they model
Then you finally realize all of this sh#% is hollow
And you lost at least 3 good women that you could count on
In this lifetime, the right time is something we often run from
I hope you like sad songs, he's gonna hum one
Ain't wanna play the dumb dumb, so I cleaned my act
Training day, she wiped the pain away and got me back on track.
I say all this to say, she caught me for I went astray
Hold this I owe you, I'll pay you back along the way

AUDIO: I.O.U. (Remix) ft. J. Keys

Just in time for the warm weather, J. Keys spices up Luke James' I.O.U. on the Remix. Keys basically says, whereas it's "cool" to be a player, its not cool to be a player past your prime. lol!! When you find the right one hold on to her and don't become the washed up 'Sugar Daddy' in the club. Get your button ups ironed real crispy for this one.

Lyrics: J. Keys - "All Maize Everything"

Lyrics: J. Keys - "All Maize Everything"

First off homie we don't call it gold
We call it maize so you better slow ya roll
Slower than an OSU alumn is
No gloves on, we don't hold no punches
Final fo' bound it's about to go down
We X Men off, wolverines gone clown
Detroit to Flint-town Grand Rap to Yacktown
Oh you ain't heard Ace Deuce is back on
Ypsi gone cut up, Ann Arbor gone wild' out
Been hot wit' it since Webber called time out
But we ain't sentential and we don't get soft
Till that champagne splash and we cut nets off
Maize shirt maize hoody for the cold
Going to see the wiz on the Maize brick road
All Maize everything, all blue everything,
Coming for them jewels and we ain't talking wedding rings
Pause, Turn up!
Bet against my team you will get burnt up
You can still rep if you ain't graduate wit us
Hail to the victors, we leaning off the liquor
But no Bacardi Gold, only Bacardi Maze
Umich, do this, better on any day,
Shout out to them freshman, them bad girls in Markley
Its too cold for class, with they lazy ass but they still make it out to that party
Pop the bottles we winning, (winning) pop the bottles we winning (winning)
Them Spartans sure ain't smiling, and them Buckeyes sure ain't grinning

Hook:
Maize all on my brain,
Maize all through my veins,
Maize down to the socks,
Don't believe me just watch
Don't believe me just watch
Don't believe me just watch

Maize all on my brain,
Maize all through my veins,
Maize down to the socks,
Don't believe me just watch
Don't believe me just watch
Don't believe me just watch

Lyrics: J. Keys - "For the Soul"

Lyrics: J. Keys - "For the Soul"

Verse:1
Its like my music may take you to places, though I was never there
Like white folx walking their dog I'm sh!tting everywhere,
And never cleaning up, give me the mic I beat it up
Put ya mothaf#%*in' hands in the air, and just leave 'em up
Took my joint to Radio, they told me to make dance up
They wanna spin my sh!t but the PD got 'em handcuffed
Tolerance getting low like I took time off drinking
Seem like we as an audience took time off thinking
You in denial like an addict admitting that he's a fiend
Or girls with flab falling out of low rise jeans
Thinking you hot when you barely luke warm
Thinking you full price, when you really coupon
You singing the same song that's already on the air
Gucci, Louis, Diamonds, No Roof, nobody cares
Tell a ni66a you rhyme, they assume you want record deal
I'd rather have a fan base and a way to feed my family meals (that's real)

Hook:
Let's go y'all,
This one here is for the soul y'all
You can feel it in ya chest
Yuh yes yuh yes

Let's go y'all (c'mon)
This one here is for the soul y'all
You can feel it in ya gut,
Unh Hunh, Unh hunh yeah

Verse 2:
Buyer beware, sellers wanna hang with ya
A lot of dream danglers a lot of dream stranglers
Other people's dreams try to tangle ya
You doin' you now they wanna try to mangle ya
What's ya angle huh, acute or obtuse
Is this line perpendicular, or parallel to you
Been in a box so long I'm happy to see a rhombus.
Every time I click record I'm on a quest to be timeless
To make up for all the days I tapped the bottle to be mindless
A lot of rappers dropped a song never to be rewinded
Blinded by the lights, the cameras, the action
For all the money, cars, and hoes what's life without passion
Some of my best times was spent broke with my loved ones
You make it to the top look around and you alone son
In America we work everyday 'til we die
So busy trying to stack money that we don't enjoy life (that's right)

Hook:
Let's go y'all,
This one here is for the soul y'all
You can feel it ya chest
Yuh yuh yes yuh yes

Let's go y'all (c'mon)
This one here is for the soul y'all
You can feel it in ya gut,
Unh Hunh, Unh hunh

...Yeah

J.Keys' Reaction: Unchained... Django... Spike Lee...and more...

As a black man, I ABSOLUTELY care who tells my story. If you disagree with this philosophy you might as well stop reading now... (you won't like where this is going).

If you ask me Spike Lee is not mad enough. We as a people are not mad enough! It is 2013 and Spike Lee is still the only one 'Mad.' Every segment of our society has evolved, yet very few us are in a position to green light our own films on a consistent basis. We do not have a fair balanced representation on TV or the Big Screen.

In 2012, last year 16 movies featuring a black lead made it to the big the screen in some capacity (they were not necessarily blockbusters they just made it to the big screen in some capacity.) 6 of those films had black directors. 1 of those was a woman. (I saw her film and loved it).

Red Tails, Sparkle, Alex Cross, A thousand words, Beasts of Southern Wild, Django , Gang of Roses 2: Next Generation, Madea's Witness Protection, Good Deeds, the Last Fall, Red Hook Summer, Elza, Think Like a Man, Middle of Nowhere, Flight, Chico and Rita

This is UNACCEPTABLE!!!! Figuratively speaking, this is 'below minimum wage.' Politics, Music, Finance, and every segment of our society is more evolved and progressive than the film industry. So yes If you are a director (especially non-black) and you decide that you want to tell one of our 16 stories a year, I am cautious of your intentions and I am watching you with a microscope and that sh#% better be on point! ....not 'average' ON POINT!!!

My question is not 'Why is Spike Lee Hating?' ....My question is 'Why is No One Else?'"
