Well, Rick Ross is out and Wiz Khalifa and Future are in for the remix of U.O.E.N.O. It also rumored that Young Jeezy, Kenderick Lamar and Kanye West will be adding their vocals to additional remixes...
Right now everybody is up in arms about Rick Ross' line on Rocko's jamming ass song "U.O.E.N.O." where he raps about slipping some molly in a girl champagne, taking her home, "enjoying that" and here not even knowing about it.
In an interview with Q93.3 in New Orleans, Rawse stops by to talk about having seizures like Lil Wayne and how great MMG is doing. Then the radio personality kinda asks him to explain that "she ain't even know it" line. Rawse says that he came to the radio station specifically to talk about that because he wanted to talk to the people directly, and not tweet about it.
Rawse says that he, his team and "the streets" don't condone rape and that women are the most precious gift known to man. He also says that the lyric was a misunderstanding and told his "queens and sexy ladies" sorry for the misunderstanding. The radio personality followed up with some softball ass question about people being too "judgemental" about lyrics, bringing up the backlash behind Lil Wayne's "beat the pussy up like Emmett Till" line. Sounds like brah doesn't want to be denied access to the next MMG party...as most media types these days.
Is there anybody on planet earth not afraid to ask dude direct questions? Guess the "it's just entertainment" defense is going to start being used for lyrics like this too now
