"FOOD, FUN, BOWLING & GIVING"

(3 LANES, 24 BOWLERS, FOOD, FUN, BOWLING & GIVING)

WHO RAISED THE MOST FOR SISTERS OF TODAY & TOMORROW?

Atlanta, Georgia - "Food, Fun, Bowling & Giving", was the theme of the 1st annual Sisters of Today & Tomorrow "Giving Circle", Bowling Party Fundraiser at Ten Pin Alley (VIP Room) in Atlantic Station, hosted by VH1's Football Wives' / Director of "Beyond The Game" Chanita Foster; Author of "The Hip Hop Professional" / Music Industry Veteran - CEO "Press Reset Entertainment" Shanti Das and Founder / Executive Director of Sisters of Today & Tomorrow Carla Morrison.

"I asked these awesome women to help me raise money for Sisters of Today & Tomorrow, in order to continue our 'life changing' programs for the year," said Carla Morrison. "And without hesitation, they both said yes. Now the organization is in a good starting place for second quarter to continue our work with the girls."

Each host was challenged to see who could raise the most for the organization and Shanti Das, who is a serious competitor, won the challenge, bringing in over $2,500, which won her a professional photo shoot worth $1,200, with Prime Phocus, the premiere photography studio in Atlanta. Chanita Foster and her team won the bowling and raffle challenge, which generated a substantial amount of funds winning them a 19" inch flat screen television, donated by Nationwide Insurance a big gift basket from Avon and a professional photo shoot worth $700.

Chilli from the R&B group TLC and VH1's "What Chilli Wants", former NFL Players George Foster (Chanita's husband) & Odell Thurman, NFL Player Randy McMichael and WNBA Player Kara Braxton, were a few of the celebrities that attended the event, bowled and made sizable contributions, along with members from the National Black MBA.

"They are giving their time, talents and treasures because they believe in the work we are doing to empower girls and the community at-large," stated Morrison. "Shanti has been with us for a year now, and in that short time we have had her as a mentor, a presenter during our conference and now our development person, helping us to develop solid business relationships, to raise funding for the organization. Chanita, whose kind spirit spoke to me, is someone I knew I wanted to get involved with Sisters of Today & Tomorrow and the opportunity presented itself, which was an absolute blessing." Chanita went onto say, "we (speaking of her and husband George Foster) have a nonprofit and know what it takes to run it. We have to support one another and that's what I'm all about."
