We need to sit back and take Snoop in from time to time... World traveler, known around the world, knows a LOT of people for a LONG time (like Tyrese since before the Coca-Cola commercial). Sway gets into it with Snoop on real gangsta cred, on 'Pac, on B.I.G. and more. Heather B chiming in. Good talk!
Did you know that there are over 400,000 children in foster care in the US? Rising Pop-Reggae artist Justin Anthony, who was a product of the foster care system here in the US himself, wants you to know the facts and realities about foster care and the adoption process.
In his recently released PSA, Justin talks about his own experiences as a foster child as well as the need for more Americans to learn about and become a foster or adopting parent.
Its always great when an artist takes the time to build awareness for a cause and its great to see a young artist at the beginning of their career like Justin realizing the value of giving back.
Above is Justin Anthony's PSA for the National Adoption Council.

Fresh off his own debut reggae album's arrival on store shelves, Calvin Broadus is helping another emerging Island-pop artist get a leg-up in the game. On Good Luv, the Black Vibesa debut and latest feature from Elevate Music's Justin Anthony, Grammy-winning beatsmith Winston "Blackout" Thomas provides a brass-laced instrumental backdrop for verses dedicated to a special woman in the artist's life. Seeing as Anthony's got singing covered, Snoop reverts to rapping, contributing some Doggy-style flows on the front as well as ad-libs throughout the jam. The headliner's next album, produced entirely by Blackout, has yet to receive either a title or a solid drop date. Fans can, of course, stay tuned to Black Vibes for the latest on the forthcoming set.

Snoop appeared as a guest on HuffPost Live to promote his album "Reincarnated" (out now). That was the main intent. But you Snoop does what Snoop does... like firing up the weed and freestyling ... LIVE!
He also spoke on his transition from gangsta/pimpin' to a new persona pushing peace and non-violence; even weighing on the Rick Ross "didn't know" lyric controversy. Good stuff.
I got a chance to see the Snoop Lion "Reincarnated" documentary a couple of months ago. I mean, it was cool. You want to believe that Snoop was truly moved spiritually to make more "peaceful" music. But it's hard to forget that this dude is one of the first, if not the first turn "selling out" into "capitalizing off my lifestyle." I mean dude has put his name and face on everything from porn to blunt wraps to Colt 45. So when he drops a documentary where everybody is rocking adidas (fly shit of course) and we never really see him go through any real transformation other than saying he wants to stop cursing so he can perform for Obama, you have a right to question his motives.
But, of course, I want you listen to the music and see the documentary for yourself to see if it's Snoop Lion or Snoop Lyin'. If dude truly feels that he wants to mature and make rap music like a 40 year old man with kids, more power to him
And It Don't Stop! On GGN: Kurupt and Snoop talk that grown man *ish (raising sons, little league), smoking on that good home grown, talking about how Kurupt came up and got up with Snoop and Death Row... all that and more. Question: How long can their cipher go? Cipher = Circle. On and on... Good watching!
