Gucci Man and 2 Chainz collaborate on "Use Me". This is not the first or last time the two have joined forces on a track. Supposedly, 'Use Me' is off Gucci's Traphouse 3 project, which is due on May...
Titty Boi aka 2 Chainz continues to release visual off his highly successful Def Jam debut album Based On A T.R.U. Story. The song 'Like Me' features The Weeknd on the hook. Spotted: 2...
Shawty...when I tell you that this song does insane things to car speakers? Brah. Riding to this song, you'll swear you keep getting rear ended by a Mack truck.
Bangladesh's Ponzi Scheme mixtape is not meant to be listened to on computers...only in the car (and the Maurice Garland app).
Young Jeezy raps from both a nightclub and a graveyard, because he just killed the club...get it? He also brought a few of his famous friends along for some cameos...and it's absolutely right that E-40 be in there since this DJ Mustard beat sounds like something right off of that History album he did with Too Slow $hort.
That said I'm interested to see how long Jeezy is going to ride this West Coast wave he's been on lately. It's The World definitely had some Left side inspired moments. He took "R.I.P." after YG turned it down, plus he just hopped on that Ty Dolla $ign "My Cabana" remix too. He's definitely at that point in the game where a little more experimentation could actually help him out.
R&B crooner Eric Benet recruits rapper 2 Chainz for "News For You" remix. 2 Chainz throws on the suit and tie and keeps it grown and sexy for this one.
Bangladesh has been ahead of the curve as a producer for some years now. Sometimes to a fault. I remember when I first met him nine years ago he'd tell me about how a few of my favorite rappers were afraid to hop on his beats. Hell even to this day, songs are being made to beats that he made years ago.
This Ponzi Scheme project is further proof that there aren't too many producers out there that can manipulate sounds like he does. The project is combination of songs that have already appeared on other albums and new exclusives. Fortunately here, Bang scales back in the right areas to leave room for the artists featured to catch up to his style. "Terrific" featuring Gucci Mane is probably going to be everybody's favorite track once it gets out, but tracks like "Pull Up" aren't to be slept on either.
The industry is just now catching up to what he's been doing for years, but Bang is easily one of the best at being able to craft beats that can resonate in multiple lanes from pop to ratchet.
