Every segment of our society has evolved, yet very few us are in a position to green light our own films on a consistent basis. We do not have a fair balanced representation on TV or the Big Screen.
In 2012, last year 16 movies featuring a black lead made it to the big the screen in some capacity (they were not necessarily blockbusters they just made it to the big screen in some capacity.) 6 of those films had black directors. 1 of those was a woman. (I saw her film and loved it).

Then I remembered a piece of wisdom that I once gave a friend. Before one goes too far looking at another person's life, it is important to get centered and start thinking clearly. You never know what trials and tribulations that another person has had to endure. I wasn't designed for anybody else's set of life parameters other than those of my own... God created me uniquely in His likeness and image for a particular assignment in this universe that only I can perform... The same is true for each of us... I wouldn't want your set of life parameters and you definitely wouldn't want mine! RUN YOUR OWN RACE... GO GET IT!!!
