I never imagine this day coming, but if rumors is true rapper T.I. is splitting up with wife Tiny. Hopefully, this is not the case. If so, I wonder if this will put an end to their Family Hustle...
Tampa Bay rap group Splitta Squad explodes on the scene with their latest offering. This time Splitta Squad blesses the masses with their highly contagious club anthem , "Do It."
Over the last year, Splitta Squad has been preparing for the release of their forthcoming LP, "The Re-Creation." It will epitomize a more modern day approach to feel-good music. Since 2004, this has been the goal of Splitter Records/Splitta Squad.
Tampa, Florida - January 18, 2012 - When most people think of Splitter Records/Splitta Squad, they automatically think of Tampa Tony, previously Splitter Record's main priority. Tampa Tony is the only artist from Tampa who has been able to reach outside the limits of the music industry and successfully brand himself. He had the "Da Spitter", his own Bobble Head, and his own line of DS Sneakers! Due to the unfortunate circumstances of Tampa Tony, the label has been forced to redirect its focus. Splitter Records has now introduced Great Things Ent. & Da Splitta Squad. Today on Tampa Tony's Birthday, Splitta Squad, has released the Official Video for the Remix of their Latest Single "Superstar" featuring Tampa rappers Lil Kee (Buss It Wide Open) and Famous Kid Brick (I'm On It.) #SaluteTampaTony
The Dream Puts out a public apology to his wife Christina Milian and sticking with his story that their marriage has been failing for awhile, actually since the end of 2009. Here is the letter in his own words from his official site.
In My Own Words:
First I want to thank God for the trials of life, without them we can't know purpose!
I would love to tell the truth as to why my relationship wasn't successful, but today that is between me and Christina. Its easy to say that it's because of another woman or a new relationship but truthfully, IT'S NOT.
I take FULL RESPONSIBILITY for misleading everyone into thinking everything was fine and okay when we knew problems existed for awhile! I wanted to speak up but we decided it wasn't for anyone to know. I would NEVER intentionally hurt a soul and everyone around me knows that! There was so much going on in me and Christina's personal world that I tried to deal with it as delicately as I could and tried to regain my footing. Instead of being direct in order not to cause even more hurt or hurt someone's feelings, I carried the weight in secret!
I am Human and people fall in and out of Love all the time… This is Life. Nothing's promised or perfect, neither am I. I am not proud that I lost something we once had…LOVE! I've always been a Loving Father, Hard Worker, Generous, Stern and Eager to prove myself. My faults are I can be irresponsible and an ass sometimes, but I HAVE NEVER and WILL NEVER be a malicious person or wish harm to anyone, especially those I love or the mother of my child. I'm sorry for the embarrassment to everyone involved! If there's anyone to blame and you can't fathom this happening, please blame me and me alone for not being upfront! Even though we were trying to overcome personal things between us, I was just simply scared and embarrassed to let everyone know we WERE FAILING and HAVE NOW FAILED!
This is not to justify anything, it's true emotion! It's a real thing that involves real people! I've cried about this for months, after interviews, after prayer and I've tried to take my own life at a point because of the failure that was looming.
But I was reminded by my MOTHER that I am not "Superman" and its okay to lose sometimes…
If she was mourning her breakup with Gabriel Aubry, Halle Berry certainly didn't look - or act - like it Saturday morning in New York City. Out to co-host the 13th Annual EIF/Revlon Run/Walk for Women in Times Square with fellow Revlon Brand Ambassadors Jessica Biel, Trey Songz, and Jessica Alba, the newly single actress revved up the crowd with her energy and enthusiasm.
"I can't tell you how happy I am to be here," said Berry, 43, eliciting the loudest cheers from the crowd, who were walking to raise funds for breast and ovarian cancer research. "I am walking today on behalf of a friend of mine, Stephanie, who is fighting the fight every day. I feel you, I'm with you, and it's important that we're all here today."
While the news of her split from boyfriend of four years, Gabriel Aubry, 34, broke Friday, Berry avoided a formal appearance on the red carpet, instead choosing to make a more subtle entrance. However, she looked radiant and in good spirits on stage and off, as she chatted and laughed with the event's co-chair, Lilly Tartikoff, and performer and R&B singer Trey Songz. She also happily posed with fans for pictures
It's definitely splitsville for Halle Berry and model babydaddy Gabriel Aubry - but that didn't keep Halle from having a hot night in the city with someone else! While Halle's ex confirmed the breakup, she went to see Denzel in Broadway's "Fences" with this tall chocolate specimen.
Speaking with Access Hollywood, Aubry said he was 'sad' to confirm the split and refused to comment on all of the 'wild inaccuracies' currently being reported by the media about his former relationship.
'She is, and will forever be, one of the most special and beautiful people that I have ever known, and I am certain that we will continue to have only love and respect for one another.'
Aubry also mentioned that both parties main concern is their daughter, Nahla.
'Her happiness and well-being are the most important thing for both of us," he said. "Please respect our privacy during this very difficult time.
Eve's "Tambourine" stopped shaking awhile ago when her album Here I Am was shelved indefinitely by Interscope. The Philly rapper confirmed a rift with her longtime recording home when she tweeted back in January that she had left the label.
Now, she's opening up about her reasons in an interview with Vibe. The former first lady of the Ruff Ryders alleged she didn't get the proper backing from Interscope for what would have been her next LP.
"They promised me the machine," she said. "The machine is basically the rollout. It's 'Yo, when ["Flirt"] comes out, we'll give you this, we'll give you that.' And that's what made me mad. It'd be different if we didn't have a meeting where people promised me sh--. If they were just like, 'Oh, we're going to put the album out and see what happens,' that would be one thing.
"But they were like, 'No, we're making sure this happens. It's coming out on this date,' " she continued. "It was concrete. But it's all good. Everything happens how it's supposed to, when it's supposed to."
For the stalled Here I Am, Eve recorded with Swizz Beatz, Sean Paul and Robin Thicke. Back in 2007, she gushed about working with the blue-eyed crooner.
"The Robin song is called 'Fantasy,' " she told MTV News. "My lyrics are basically talking about ladies — how when guys see you in a club but [aren't] ready to talk to you. Like a guy who sees you in a club and he wants to do all these things to you. ... You're his fantasy. It's real. A guy might be...More EVE
NEW YORK - There will be no encore for Jay-Z and Def Jam.
The rapper confirms reports that he has left the record company where he made most of his biggest hits and went from artist to president, and back to artist again.
In an interview with the Web site RapRadar.com, he thanks the label's executives and calls his time at Def Jam "a unique and fulfilling experience."
Last year, Jay-Z and Live Nation struck a wide-ranging deal that included touring, publishing and albums. Jay-Z had owed Def Jam one more record. A representative for Jay-Z declined to elaborate on his comments
