Singer NE-YO has BEEF with Citibank!
Page Six reports:
"The Wiz Live!" star Ne-Yo is blaming Citibank for turning a blind eye to his ex-manager's alleged fraud, in which he drained at least $2.4 million from the crooner's accounts between 2011 and 2013, court papers say.Ne-Yo says in a countersuit against the bank that it never alerted him to the hundreds of times his former business adviser Kevin Foster allegedly transferred huge amounts.Shady transactions - including a $24,910.85 deposit in April 2012 from Ne-Yo's company, Compound Touring, to Foster's accounting group, Foster & Firm, to cover a $16,000 overdraft in a Foster-managed account - were detailed in court papers last week.Five months later, Citibank did nothing after learning the Compound account was overdrawn by more than $40,000, concluding that such withdrawals in Foster-managed accounts "were to be expected," court papers say.Citibank "will be held accountable," said Ne-Yo's lawyer Richard A. Roth.Citibank and Foster's lawyers didn't respond.Citibank earlier sued Ne-Yo over a $1.4 million loan for which he says he never signed. He subsequently sued Foster, saying he owes him $8 million. Both cases are pending
(AllHipHop News) NBC's The Wiz Live! was a hit. The broadcast brought in 11.5 million viewers and set a Nielsen Twitter record as the most tweeted special program. Viewers will soon be able to own a copy of the show.
The Wiz Live! also earned favorable reviews. It was considered a major improvement from the previous NBC live adaptations of Sound Of Music and Peter Pan. Both of those productions were universally panned.
The classic tale of The Wiz is coming to NBC on December 3. Kenny Leon's live television adaption of the Tony-wining Broadway play is set to feature Shanice Williams (Dorothy), Elijah Kelley (The Scarecrow), Ne-Yo (The Tinman), and David Alan Grier (The Cowardly Lion).
The rest of the star-studded cast includes Common, Queen Latifah, Mary J. Blige, Stephanie Mills, Uzo Aduba, and Amber Riley. Zadan & Meron (Sound of Music, Peter Pan) are producing.
NBC has released the first costume images of The Wiz Live! Check out photos of the actors as the iconic characters in the gallery below.
Rumor has it, Ne-Yo cheated on his pregnant fiancee Crystal Renay while he was in D.C. to perform for the White House State Dinner. Crystal recently deleted all traces of Ne-Yo from her Instagram immediately after. We aren't quite sure if the rumor has been confirmed, but it was enough to send Crystal and even her haters over the edge. Someone even left a comment taunting Crystal about the cheating with alleged details. Crystal also recently posted a quote on her page that said,
"And a mistake repeated more than once is a decision."
NBC is adding three more big names to the A-list cast of the upcoming live production of The Wiz.
Ne-Yo, Elijah Kelley (Hairspray) and Common have been added to the star-studded lineup, NBC Entertainment chairman Bob Greenblatt announced at the Television Critics Association summer press tour on Thursday.
Ne-Yo's Non-Fiction is this year's first solid R&B album. He paints a picture of real relationship experiences, not necessarily all his own of course, but relatable to say the least. He takes you on a musical lesson about money, fame, and of course women. He's open and honest about some not so good choices you could make when you get captivated by all three. The singer/songwriter is displaying his maturity and growth which could be a career death sentence if your core fans don't like the sound though I doubt he'll have that problem. Sticking to his roots of writing longing love songs he sprinkles in Schoolboy Q, T. I., Young Jeezy, and Juicy J for the right amount of hip-hop flavor and David Guetta and Pit Bull provide what has now become Ne-Yo's signature Pop sound. One More and Who's Taking You Home are my favorite tracks right now and hopefully will follow She Knows and Money Can't Buy on radio rotation. This album has more than sad love songs and when you are not thinking about that special someone you let get away, you'll be dancing out of your seat!

Definite banger for the dance clubs worldwide. Can see this "Coming With You" by Neyo jumping off internationally easily. Nice scenery in this vid, too though. Lots of eye candy featured at a day (and night) at the beach. The single is off Neyo's forthcoming "Non-Fiction" LP (due out on iTunes on January 27, 2015). You can put your order in (and get some tracks) now via the link below.
Ne-Yo said he'd never be back? Nah, never say never. The Breakfast Club morning show gets special delivery of Ne-Yo's single "Money Can't Buy" (featuring Jeezy) from 'The Gentleman' himself. Ne-Yo also spoke on new biz, his 'Behind The Music' episode, R&B vs. Pop, and more.
