(AllHipHop News)  The long-awaited mixtape, The Magnificent 757's, from veteran musician Stevie J, and Hip-Hop businessman, Benzio, is scheduled to be released. The postponed project will be available Friday night (Jan. 22), as confirmed by a press release. Big Kap and Armadale Vodka have been instrumental to helping secure the release date.

In the past, both Stevie J and Benzio appeared on the hit reality show, Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta. The dynamic duo, were once as close as brothers. When their relationship deteriorated so did their desire to pursue the project. Looking past their personal drama, Big Kap - who was once Biggie Smalls' DJ - rescued the situation.

Viewed as "one of Hip-Hop's most influential DJ's," Big Kap, has earned a respected rapport with both with both men. "I guarantee you people are gonna be surprised when they hear this. Me myself I've known Benzino and Stevie for a long time and their contributions to Hip Hop speak for themselves," expressed the veteran DJ.

Bridging the gap between Hip-Hop, Jazz, and Big Band, the soulful mixtape is everything "all wrapped up in one." Acclaimed singer, Money Marquise, teams up with Stevie J and Benzino to create a standout track. Although Stevie J and Benzino's reality-based drama once detoured their project, Big Kap went on to state, "Now I know what happened between them on Love & Hip-Hop, but I'm not here for that. I'm just here to bring you some dope music, and the album's definitely that."

The world renowned turntableist then suggests that The Magnificent 757's could perhaps foster reconciliation between Stevie J. and Benzino. Will this project help to resurrect the bro-mance between Stevie J and 'Zino?

Gucci Mane's Social Media Accounts Are Now Deleted

If you were waiting on Gucci Mane to drop news about his release through his social media, you're about to be disappointed. According to Complex, Atlanta's hip hop mayor had his Twitter and Instagram accounts recently deleted for now reason. There hasn't been any reason why the two social media profiles were canceled, but their removal follows consistent rumors that Gucci Mane would be out earlier than fans would have thought.

Gucci also announced a possible 2016 20-city tour once he gets out, but we won't get any of this information if his two social media profiles are removed.

Alkebulan's interview for new release Coup D'ètat

In a world where mixtapes and albums drop every minute on your favorite music website most artists do not take the time to put together a quality project. What made you take your time in the making of Coup D'ètat? I believe in quality music. The industry is cluttered with so much half-ass work, so why add to it? I believe people want to hear more of what's outside the norm. I'm adding some balance. What was your main inspiration behind this project? My message is that with unity, leadership, and movement as one, we can solve more of these problems going on in our country today. Haitians revolted against the French and succeeded. It's possible for us to do the same in our own way. And metaphorically, this project represents overthrowing the normalities and mundane nature of today's music industry. Your music could easily be labeled revolutionary and or conscience which isn't as common label in your generation. When you are in the creative process do you think about standing out? or fitting in? I think about what will inspire people. Will this make people think or research. Naturally, as an artist, I create from my soul and that is different from everyone else's. How did you link with Childish Major? Markus (Childish Major) is my nigga! I've been knowing him for about 4 years now and working with him is amazing. We're productive together. He's very talented at what he does, and when we link, the music we create is timeless. The 'Pledge [...]

(AllHipHop News) Back in the 1990’s, the only Spring Break worth going to for young people from HBCUs was the annual Freaknik event in Atlanta. What began as a picnic in the 1980’s for students at the Atlanta University Center grew into a weekend long event which featured travelers from around the country and concerts with big named stars.

The story of Freaknik has now been told through a 40-minute documentary posted to YouTube. Several Atlanta-based entertainers and DJs speak about how over 100,000 people eventually converged on the city for the biggest party in the south and the impact the event had on the rise of southern music to the mainstream.
