NFL STAR JONAS JENNINGS HOSTS 9TH ANNUAL FUNDAMENTALS 101 FOOTBALL CAMP

ATLANTA- Jonas Jennings, a retiree of the National Football League, will join forces with former teammates and friends and host his 9th Annual Fundamentals 101 Football Camp. The all day free event dedicated to youth ages 5-18 will be Saturday, July 14, 2012 at College Park Recreation Department in College Park, GA.
Jonas Jennings, a native of College Park, GA, made a name for himself at Tri Cities High School where he excelled both academically and athletically. In 1995, Jennings was selected to the AJC Top 50 in Georgia and was the honorable mention All-State pick. He had a successful eight season career in the NFL with the Buffalo Bills and San Francisco 49ers and now takes pride in giving back to the community that he believes helped shape him into the man he is today. "It's important for me to be able to do this for the community that raised me. There are kids here that just need to be shown they can do something bigger with their life. Every year this camp is here to encourage them to keep pushing for their dreams," Jennings says.
The Fundamentals 101 Football Camp is open to local families and youth interested in sports. The Youth Skills Football Camp, for ages 5-18 which will focus on teaching the basics and essentials of football, will take place in the morning followed by an invitation only 7-on-7 High School Football tournament in the afternoon.
The Fundamentals 101 Football Camp is a component of The Jonas Big Give Back Fund- an organization that supports charitable efforts in the College Park community.
