Beverly Hills, CA (PRWEB) December 20, 2010

First One Digital Publishing is excited to announce that its first release, Good Cop, Bad Money is now available for pre-order at BN.com. The ebook edition will be available across all digital readers and distributor platforms including iTunes, Barnes & Noble and Sony, as well as the company’s own website, http://www.FirstOnePublishing.com on 1.11.11.

“Good Cop, Bad Money is First One Publishing’s first title because it embodies the kind of story everyone can relate to. It’s about overcoming adversity, making choices for the good of all, and still winning. This book and its author, Glen Morisano, has heart”, explains Karen Hunter, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and CEO of First One Digital Publishing. “On the business-side, Good Cop, Bad Money allows us to show that there are other ways to sell books. We’re not just delivering this content in an ebook, complete with an interview video, a trailer and a powerhouse social media and marketing campaign, but also through a partnership with Market America where we are selling books to a captive audience instead of crossing our fingers and hoping someone finds it in a store or surfing online.”

In “Good Cop, Bad Money,” co-authors, John Lansing and Glen Morisano present a thrilling journey through Morisano’s 23-year career as Commanding Officer of the NYPD’s Drug Task Force and Deputy Inspector of the NYPD. Morisano’s encounters and credits include seizing some 23,100 pounds of cocaine, and putting some 2,600-dope dealers behind bars including some of the nation’s most infamous drug lords and criminals. The story comes full circle with a gripping account of his bust and conviction of money launderer, Jacob the Jeweler, a case that made headlines worldwide and unveiled the jeweler’s client list of some of the world’s biggest hip-hop stars. “Jacob’s story is typical. He was already a very rich man. But enough was not enough. And it was his greed, his desire for bad money that landed him in jail,” says Glen Morisano.
