2019 NFL Schedule: Five International Games, Dates, Locations Revealed
The NFL is keeping the 2019 schedule reveal under wraps until 8pm ET tonight, but they've provided an appetizer this morning to hold the diehard football fans over until then. In total, there will be five international games this season, including four weeks of NFL action in London and a fifth week in Mexico.
The international slate of games will kickoff on October 6 at 1pm ET, as the Oakland Raiders "host" the Chicago Bears at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The Carolina Panthers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers will head to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium the following week for a game that will kickoff at 9:30am ET.
The action across the pond will shift to Wembley Stadium on October 27, as the Cincinnati Bengals take on the defending NFC Champion Los Angeles Rams at 1pm ET, followed by a matchup at Wembley between the Houston Texans and Jacksonville Jaguars at 9:30am ET on November 3.
The fifth and final international game of the 2019 season will take place at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City, as the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers square off in the 87,523-seat stadium. The AFC West showdown will be the featured Monday Night game on November 18 - kickoff scheduled for 8:15pm ET.
The Los Angeles Rams and Kansas City Chiefs were originally scheduled for a game at Estadio Azteca last year, but poor field conditions forced the game to be relocated to L.A.
According to the Panthers' official website, Carolina, Houston and Green Bay are the only franchises that have yet to play games in London - which will leave the Packers as the lone team never to make the trip across the pond once the 2019 season is said and done.
