Weeks after the horrific Florida high school shooting, another attack has now taken place at Central Michigan University.
According to reports, the gunfire erupted Friday morning and sent the college into a frenzy.
Shots have been fired at Central Michigan University, and the shooter remains at large. An alert sent to students said it happened Friday on or near the 4th floor of Campbell Hall and that police are responding, Students are asked to stay clear of that area and to shelter in place. Michigan Governor Rick Snyder has since issued a statement on the reported shooting.
I am in constant contact with @MichStatePolice as they work w/local law enforcement to determine what has occurred at Central Michigan University. The priority right now is the safety of those still on campus and I thank all first responders involved for their swift action.

Central Michigan University reportedly has over 20,000 students enrolled and is one of the biggest schools in the state.
