Arrest Warrant Issued For "Friend" Of Shanquella Robinson, "Friend" Not Identified
Shanquella Robinson is finally getting the justice she deserves. An arrest warrant has been issued for a "friend" of Robinson, according to a Mexican prosecutor and confirmed by ABC News.
WSOC-TV 9 reports that the "direct aggressor" is being sought by international authorities on charges of femicide.
Daniel de la Rosa Anaya, a prosecutor for the state of Baja California Sur, told ABC "This case is fully clarified, we even have a court order, there is an arrest warrant issued for the crime of femicide to the detriment of the victim and against an alleged perpetrator, a friend of her who is the direct aggressor."
"Actually it wasn't a quarrel, but instead a direct aggression," de la Rosa Anaya continued. "We are carrying out all the pertinent procedures such as the Interpol alert and the request for extradition to the United States of America. It's about two Americans, the victim and the culprit."
The identity of who is to be arrested has not been released at this time.
Robinson's mom was informed on Wednesday evening about an arrest warrant being issued in the case by ABC News.
"I feel so good, that's a good feeling," Sallamondra Robinson said. "That's what we have been waiting for, for someone to finally be held accountable and arrested. I just can't wait for justice to be served."
