Brittany Renner Admits She Lacked Self-Worth In Past Public Relationships [Video]
Brittany Renner may have made her name by dating several celebrity men, but the Instagram model is now expressing regret about her past dating choices.
The 30-year-old has been linked to some of entertainment's most influential men, including Trey Songz, Drake, Chris Brown, James Harden, and most notably, Charlotte Hornets player Pj Washington with whom she shares a son. While the author previously embraced her notoriety within the industry, it appears she is ready to leave her reputation behind and is not proud of her hypersexual past.
During a recent sit down with the JustPearlyThings podcast, she expressed her newfound self-awareness of knowing how it feels to be "desired by men" but not "valued by one." When asked why none of her highly publicized relationships ever panned out, she admitted it was because she didn't see the value within herself.
"I've been running from myself for a very long time. And I'm no longer drinking it away, eating it away, sleeping it away, f**king it away. I'm sitting with my sh*t," she told host Pearl Davis.
Renner has been ridiculed by the public for supposedly "trapping" Washington with a child for monetary gain. She has continuously defended herself against these claims. Contrary to this belief, Renner says she allowed herself to be used by men due to a "lack of self-worth." This new awakening has seemingly been on the horizon for a while. She recently told her TikTok followers that she would not welcome another child without a wedding ring from a man who truly loves her. Last December, she was invited to speak with Jackson State University football players about how to avoid falling victim to groupies and the fake love she once gave in to.
Regardless of what she's gone through, accountability and self-love certainly seem at the top of Renner's list.
