Cardi B's Not Letting Death Threats Get Into Her Money Goals, 6-Figure Paydays Still On Deck
New York rapper Cardi B isn't letting a few Crips death threats make her shake in her bloody shoes. New reports claim the hip-hop star is still planning to cake up with at least three announced NBA All-Star Weekend party events.
According to reports, Cardi is looking past the gang-related tension and moving forward with her 6-figure upcoming weekend.
Sources close to Cardi tell TMZ ... she's sticking to her 3 scheduled appearances next week in L.A. - including one with her fiance, Offset, and his Migos mates - and she has no fear of gang retaliation. As we reported, the nightclubs hosting her events are beefing up, but Cardi's viewing everything as business as usual. We're told she's reminding everyone on her team - from record company execs on down - she's from the streets, so nobody's stopping her bankroll. (TMZ)
This week, reports surfaced about Cardi catching heat and gang threats over a Crip-related Instagram post.
On Monday, Cardi put up a shot of herself rocking a blue fur coat in Minneapolis. Her caption said, "I hate wearing Flue but this coat was too poppin." It's that word "Flue" that has her in serious hot water - it's a way to knock Crips favorite color, blue, without using the actual word. Cardi's publicly stated she is a Blood, so the post - which has more than a million likes - pissed off the rival Crips, who not only left angry comments ... some flat-out threatened her. The rapper's scheduled to come to L.A. for NBA All-Star festivities in about 10 days ... and her new enemies know it. One comment said, "@iamcardib this will not be accepted #DONTCOMETOLA." (TMZ)
Subsequently, Cardi has edited the pic to make it captionless and banned commenting.
A few days ago, the Bronx native hinted at possibly hitting the road for a tour with pop star Bruno Mars.
Mhhhhhhmmm🤔🤔🤔That sounds like a great idea @brunomars ?
