Chris Herndon Pleads Guilty To Driving Under The Influence

Ney York Jets rookie tight end Chris Herndon plead guilty on Wednesday in his DUI crash case stemming from a June 2018 incident where Herndon flipped his car while intoxicated. The news comes courtesy of TMZ, who say Herndon had crashed his Nissan on the 1-80 highway in New Jersey, where he had a 76-year-old passenger on board. Neither Herndon nor his passenger had any major injuries.
Below is some police footage that showcases the aftermath of the crash and was obtained by TMZ earlier in June when the incident took place.

According to TMZ, Herndon failed a standard field sobriety test after the crash and claimed he had only had two cups of wine.
Details about the guilty plea are still unclear. It is unknown if Herndon was able to get a lesser charge but what is known is that Herndon will be without a license for 90 days. He also has to do a 12-hour intoxicated driver education program and pay $639 in fines.
It is also unknown whether or not Herndon will be punished by the NFL for his actions now that he has plead guilty.
