Common Picks Sides In Snoop Dogg/Donald Trump Beef: "Public Enemy & Fast Forward To Kendrick Lamar"
G.O.O.D. Music's Common has shared his thoughts on the Snoop Dogg/Donald Trump dispute. The hip-hop veteran has rallied behind Snoop Dizzle in their war of words.
In a new interview, the Chicago native spoke up in defense of Snoop going at Trump in his new "Lavender" music video.
"Hip-hop's always been about freedom of expression. That's one of the most powerful things. Hip-hop has been like a voice for so many people. Snoop, you know, at the end of the day, hip-hop has always been - if you go and look at Public Enemy and fast forward to Kendrick Lamar, like, hip-hop artists have always been speaking up and saying what they feel." Last night, Snoop Dogg revealed his disinterest in acknowledging the dispute.
"They all want to ask me questions and interview me but guess what? I've got nothing to say, mate."
