Conor McGregor Blasts Floyd Mayweather Over IRS: "He Should Have Stayed Retired, He's F**ked Now" [V
UFC superstar Conor McGregor has no sympathy for Floyd Mayweather Jr. The MMA fighter has weighed-in on Floyd's publicized IRS tax liability situation.
Approached by paparazzi, Conor ripped Mayweather and sent some warning shots.
"That's gotta sting, that's gotta sting, right? ... I don't give a f*ck what he did," McGregor said when asked if Mayweather took the fight to pay the IRS. "I don't care what he doing. He should have stayed retired. He's f*cked now. He should have paid his taxes and stayed retired." (TMZ)
Early Tuesday, Floyd jumped on Instagram to address his headline-generating tax drama.
Last night, Floyd's longtime pal 50 Cent lit up social media over the widespread story.
This week, reports surfaced about Mayweather's unexpected legal woe.
Mayweather remains unable to pay a 2015 tax liability and filed a tax court petition on July 5 asking the IRS to allow him a reprieve until the McGregor fight. The filing also asks the government to waive a penalty for failing to pay. The former five-division champion has enough assets to afford the tax bill, he just doesn't have the available cash.
