Dallas Cowboys Came 'This' Close To Protesting Donald Trump By Kneeling But Blew It [Video]

The Dallas Cowboys had the chance of a lifetime to share an epic moment prior to Monday night's face-off against the Arizona Cardinals and managed to blow it. America's Team came 'this' close to kneeling during the pre-game's National Anthem.

Footage and pics have surfaced of the team kneeling in prayer before the start of Monday Night Football but opting to stand and lock arms during the anthem.

After 105.3 The Fan's Mike Fisher reported earlier Monday that the Cowboys were discussing how to make "a statement of unity" tonight, the Cowboys did so by locking arms as a team, along with the Jones family, and took a knee for a brief moment before the National Anthem. The entire team and the Jones' then stood and walked back to the sideline and locked arms during the anthem. According to Kristi Scales, the pregame knell was in prayer for equality and unity, and purposely not during the anthem. (CBS Local)

"Power" star Omari Hardwick and rapper French Montana have both saluted NFL free agent Colin Kaepernick for making kneeling a Black Lives Matter statement across the nation.

I am proud of you Kaep @kaepernick7 & though i don't want to speak for the late beyond great, King Ali; i would go so far as to say he is equally proud. You do not sit for us. You stand for us all in this crippled untruthful country. And by all i mean even the man who "whodini'd" his way into the oval office. He is just too NOT you to see it. That is tragic of course. You, my man....are a conscientious young leader with a heart for change. EVERY team in the @nfl could use you.....for so many deeper reasons. Keep on "Kaeping" on. ????
