DAMN! Donald Trump Goes Ghost During Kendrick Lamar's Championship Halftime Show
President Donald Trump has bigger interests than watching greatness in Kendrick Lamar slay during the College Football Playoff National Championship halftime show. Reports claim the head of state disappeared during K. Dot's must-see performance.
According to reports, President Trump popped up for the game's first half but went ghost when K. Dot took centerstage.
Kendrick Lamar performed the halftime show at the CFP National Championship Game between Alabama and Georgia, where President Donald Trump was in attendance. During the performance, which was broadcast live on ESPN, Lamar did "DNA.," "ELEMENT.," "HUMBLE." and his new single "All the Stars" (without SZA). At no point during the performance did he address the president. Lamar performed at Atlanta's Centennial Olympic Park, while the game itself was played at nearby Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Trump wasn't physically in attendance for the performance and reportedly left before Lamar began. (Pitchfork)

Last year, Lamar had no problem singling out the Trumpster on his "The Heart Part 4" song.
Lamar, 30, has previously dissed Trump in his music and, perhaps even more infuriating for Trump, praised his predecessor President Barack Obama. On "The Heart Part 4," which Lamar released in March 2017, he raps: "Donald Trump is a chump / Know how we feel, punk / Tell 'em that God comin' / And Russia need a replay button / Y'all up to somethin' / Electoral votes look like memorial votes / But America's truth ain't ignorin' the votes." A few days ago, Top Dawg Entertainment head Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith hyped up K. Dot executive producing Marvel Studios' upcoming Black Panther: The Album.

Earlier in the week, buzz developed over Top Dawg and Kendrick Lamar getting nabbed for the Marvel Studios project.
Internationally-celebrated Grammy® Award-winning global superstar Kendrick Lamar and Billboard Magazine's Executive of the Year, Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith, are set to curate and produce "Black Panther: The Album." The album will feature music from and inspired by Marvel Studios' Black Panther film including the lead single, "All The Stars," featuring Kendrick Lamar and label mate SZA, produced by Sounwave. "Black Panther" is directed by critically acclaimed filmmaker Ryan Coogler and stars Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Oscar® winner Lupita Nyong'o and Danai Gurira, among others. Lamar and Tiffith will collaborate with Coogler directly in the creation of music specific to the needs of the film. This will mark the first time that Lamar, whom Rolling Stone dubbed "the greatest rapper alive," will write, produce, perform and curate for a major motion picture.
