Freddie Gibbs Still Has Knuckles For Snowman: "I'll Whoop Your A** - F**ck Jeezy" [Video]
Indiana rapper Freddie Gibbs isn't ready for a Jeezy reunion. The hip-hop artist recently talked about his former business partner and explained why they still aren't rocking with each other in 2017.
In a new interview, Gibbs dished on his disinterest in making things right with the Snowman.
"Ain't no beef. It's gotta be beef when there's two real motherf*ckers in the equation. When there's one motherf*cker, it's just like pssshh. P*ssy a** n*gga. I'll whoop your a**, n*gga. F*ck with me. F*ck Jeezy. B*tch a** n*gga - and when that n*gga come on here, ask him about me. He gonna be like, 'Ahh nah.' That n*gga seen me after all this sh*t. He was in the section right next to me. Couldn't even enjoy himself." ("Desus & Mero")
Back in 2014, Jeezy credited himself for giving Freddie Gibbs plenty of notable business opportunities.
"I put him on a song with Eminem. I put him on a song with T.I. I put him on numerous mixtapes that I had. I took him on tour. Took him around the world. I spent money on videos that he didn't use cause he didn't like em. And it wasn't his money. So, at the end of the day my whole thing was to him was 'I took you to every label in the game. They don't wanna sign you. I don't have no reason-I love you. ... I think your music is dope, but they don't want to sign you.'" ("The Truth")
The "Snowman" also revealed what conversation may have sparked tensions with Freddie.
"So, at the end of the day when I called him up I was like 'Yo, I can't really spend my money on you. I got family, other sh*t I gotta take care of. So, I'll help you all I can, but I can't fund it anymore.' Cool. Conversation went well. We got off the conversation it was straight, love. I hear diss records. What I'm supposed to do? I'm not replying to that. Nigga, we getting money...At the end of the day we all tried. It didn't work. That shit happens in business all the time." ("The Truth")
Freddie previously admitted he wanted Jeezy to man up and issue an apology over doing him dirty in the past.
"I'll beat his a** in my church shoes," Gibbs says, but he's half joking. "If he just apologized it'd be all over with. It's not that deep.") "That's one of the only mistakes of my career," he says about his signing to CTE. "I loved Jeezy so much, diehard fan. I looked at the musical possibilities-if we were together, d*mn, we would make such great music. (Noisey)
