Housekeeper That Found Aaron Carter's Body Was Homeless Woman He Had Taken In
The housekeeper that discovered Aaron Carter's body in the bathtub is a homeless woman the singer took in a couple of weeks ago.
Sources tell TMZ that Carter and his fiancee, Melanie Miller, visited their son Prince at Miller's mother's house in Orange County last month. While they were gone for a few nights, their house was the subject of a possible break-in. The front door had been left open, and someone had left cigarette butts behind.
Upon returning to the Lancaster home, a friend advised the two to have someone house-sit for them. The person recommended someone they were familiar with from church who happened to need housing.
Carter, 34, and Miller met with the woman and decided to bring her on board. Sources say she was allowed to stay in the home rent-free in exchange for keeping an eye on it while Carter and Miller were out of town. She would also do odd jobs for them.
The outlet reports the woman was only living there for about two to three weeks before discovering Carter dead in the bathtub. She was the one that called 911.
Carter was pronounced dead at the scene.
It's unclear what will become of the housekeeper's living situation now that Carter has passed away.
