Kodak Black's Doing Unthinkable Behind Bars: "I'm Just Trying To Send Some Good Energy Out There"
Florida rap newcomer Kodak Black is doing big things behind bars as his legal muscle addresses a probation violation case. The hip-hop artist has spoken out from jail.
Black went to Twitter last night (March 6) to reveal what good deeds he's up.
Recent reports revealed Black had already lost $200,000 since getting put behind bars.
Kodak Black's watching stacks of cash disappear while he's stuck in jail - every canceled show is a $50k hit to his wallet. The rapper's been forced to postpone or cancel 4 concerts since getting locked up Tuesday for violating house arrest, and there will be 2 more before he gets his day in court. (TMZ)
Last week, Kodak's legal muscle stepped up and addressed his legal crunch.
They say that he was allowed to be at the boxing match and that the strip club incident was a misunderstanding. They also say they'll address the anger management allegations in court. The lawyers said that because the allegations against Octave constitute "technical violations" instead of the commission of a new crime, they don't expect that he will remain behind bars for much longer. A day prior, additional details surrounding the rapper's arrest emerged.
The 19-year-old Pompano Beach rapper, whose given name is Dieuson Octave, was arrested during a Tuesday hearing in Broward County after he went to a Miami strip club and a boxing match in Ohio without prior approval. Octave was seen in a video at Club Lexx in Miami on Feb. 1, when he was supposed to be in his home in Pembroke Pines, according to court documents. Octave was also caught on video while attending a Feb. 18 boxing match featuring Adrien Broner in Cincinnati, Ohio, records show. (Sun Sentinel)
