Grammy-winning rapper Lil Wayne is d-u-n. With a pending retirement on deck, the rap star has packed his bags and left his multi-million dollar Florida home.
According to reports, Weezy F. Baby's issues with his Miami mansion getting swatted since last years have sparked his decision to leave.
Wayne's been trying to sell the mansion on a fancy schmancy, super exclusive island, but he hasn't gotten any serious bites for a year. Wanye was willing to stay while he tried selling the joint, but now he just wants out and will let it sit until a buyer comes along with the appropriate amount of cash. He's had nothing but problems since moving in. He was a swatting victim back in March 2015 and he's had all sorts of issues with people ogling his estate from the water and snapping pics. (TMZ)
Earlier this month, Wayne publicly bashed his record label Cash Money during a live concert.
Recently, Wayne talked about rap protégé Drake's placement in his Young Money artist roster.
"I have this cat from Canada. His name is Drake. I have a female. Her name is Nicki Minaj. She has a cool body and she's been in a movie or two. I'm not sure if you guys have heard of her, but I think it's gonna work with her too. I got Cory Gunz, Jae Millz. Other than that, you got me, Hoody and Gudda Gudda in a group called L.A.T. that's Loyalty Amongst Thieves. And then you got a beautiful woman by the name of Stephanie [Acevedo]. She literally doesn't have to sing a song because she's so beautiful. I think the first video is gonna be called 'Mute.' We're just gonna put her on screen and tell her to make a bunch of faces. She's from Miami. Then you have my homeboy Baby E, little white boy. He is so talented. If I'm forgetting anybody, y'all know what I'm on." (Q93)
In late August, Wayne publicly ripped Cash Money at a live concert.
