Lloyd Banks Reveals What Classic Rap Album He Memorized At 11

New York rapper Lloyd Banks is much more than your average Snoop Dogg fan. The hip-hop stud has saluted the Doggfather's epic 1993 classic Doggystyle.

Banks celebrated Throwback Thursday with a salute to Snoop Dizzle's hip-hop masterpiece.

The year was 1993..The first album I ever purchased! I memorized this at 11 years old..it was on from that point! (The reason you'll never be as dope as me) @snoopdogg #doggystyle #tbt

A few days ago, Lloyd paid some homage to hip-hop veteran Royal Flush's Ghetto Millionaire.

Last month, Lloyd remembered late rapper Prodigy's classic H.N.I.C.

Recently, the Big Apple native shared an inspirational clip of a kid saluting his lyrical skills.

Can't help but see myself looking at this young man..I remember studying rakim and big daddy Kane the same way..I would be glued to a much smaller tv tho lol..hip hop has changed so much from what inspired me to rap..I just hope I'm around to see it all come back full circle! Vids like this....makes it all worth it ????
