Police Arrest Suspect In Wendy's Arson After Rayshard Brooks' Murder

A woman who's accused of burning down the Atlanta Wendy's where Rayshard Brooks was shot has been arrested, CNN reports. Police said they've charged Natalie White with first-degree arson in connection to the fire that happened at the protests. The Fulton County Sheriff's officer confirmed that she was in custody on Twitter.

Atlanta Fire Rescue initially identified Natalie White as the suspect in the case. They said that White "has been identified as a suspect in the arson fire that burned down the Wendy's Restaurant (125 University Ave) on Saturday, June 13th."
Investigators on the case initially said that Natalie White could be connected to Rayshard Brooks. In the bodycam footage that was released after the man's death, he's heard identifying his girlfriend as Natalie White. At this point, there hasn't been any confirmation that the suspect was connected to Brooks.
Both police officers involved in Rayshard Brooks' case have since been charged for their involvement. Garrett Rolfe, the ex-cop that shot Brooks, was charged with eleven counts including a felony murder, five counts of aggravated assault, four counts of violation of oath of office and one count of criminal damage to property. Devin Brosnan, the other officer on the scene, was charged with aggravated assault for standing on Brooks' after he was shot and two counts of violation of oath.
