Red Bull Music Festival Chicago Hosts 50 Year Celebration of Gramophone Records
The 2019 Chicago edition fo the Red Bull Music Festival launched with Gramaphone 50, a dual-venue takeover event at Metro/smartbar in celebration for the 50th anniversary of Gramophone Records.
The event celebrated five decades of the record store in celebration of the Windy City House scene. DJ Sets were performed by Derrick Carter, Ron Trent, Colette, DJ Heather, JR of the Molemen, G Most, Jesse De La Pena, Justin Aulis Long, DJ Psycho-Bitch, Hector Lopez, Michael Serafini, Garrett David and more including a special guest appearance from Mark Farina.
Red Bull Music Festival Chicago continues through November 30th and will include performances by Tierra Whack, Lupe Fiasco, Jamila Woods, Valee, Saba, Smino, and more. You can see the full line-up here.
