Atlanta rapper SoFaygo has released a new single titled "Ye." The single is the first to be released from the rapper's new EP, GO+. GO+ is set for release later this month via Travis Scott's Cactus Jack. SoFaygo announced the new EP earlier this month with an Instagram post to fans. The artist is also currently performing alongside fellow musician Nav for the artist's North American tour. Canadian singer RealestK also joins the two on tour. The "Never Sleep" tour runs until March, with final stops in Phoenix, LA, and Toronto. The tour additionally features a special guest, award-winning musician Bryson Tiller.
The artist was expected to release a deluxe edition of his 2022 album Pink Heartz soon, but it was later revealed that his EP GO+ would be prioritized. Travis Scott announced that the artist would be coming out with a new EP soon at an NBA All-Star Weekend event this year. He stated, "We got Faygo 'bout to put out a lil EP, that's on the way." SoFaygo then confirmed the information Scott shared in a Twitter post.
SoFaygo To Release New EP
"Ye" is characteristically upbeat, giving fans a taste of what to expect on the new EP. Punchy bars are matched with an easygoing melody to create a fun, lighthearted track. The song has the makings of a summer staple, with reverberating bass and dreamy vocals.
SoFaygo received praise from artists like Lil Uzi Vert and Gunna in the past for his work on the 2019 song that went viral, "Knock Knock." He also went on to create his album titled Pink Heartz, which was promoted by Apple Music as part of their Apple Music Up Next program. Features on the album include big names like DJ Khaled, Don Toliver, and more. The album also features production by Pharrell.
