Someone Call Up Nicki Minaj, H&M Plays Itself W/ Controversial Black Kid Ad

New York rapper Nicki Minaj might want to holler at H&M when she gets a free minute. The hip-hop diva's recent winter campaign partner is catching heat over a controversial new clothing advertisement.

Social media has reacted to H&M deciding to use a black child to don a shirt which reads "Coolest Monkey In The Jungle" on its website.

Was h&m tweaking with this or na?

TSRStaff: Thembi ( @ThembiTV_ ) _____________________________________ Alright #Roommates, a lot of people are up in arms about a photo that has been going around from the #H&M website. _____________________________________ The photo is of a black boy who is wearing a "monkey" hoodie for #H&M. _____________________________________ People are extremely upset that the people in charge of the shoot chose to put the black boy in the green sweater as opposed to the other sweaters pictures in the collection. [SWIPE] _____________________________________ We have verified that these pictures are indeed on the #H&M #UK website-but what do y'all think #Roommates? Are people reaching, or are they absolutely right in being upset?

Back in November, rap star Nicki Minaj's winter campaign ad for H&M went live.

In the Johan Renckhe-directed ad, the rapper, 34, and the actor, 36, play parents to a little girl who's told a bedtime story from Williams' imaginative improvisations. The star's on-screen daughter is transported in the touching tale and explores a parallel universe in search of the evil brother of Father Christmas, played by actor John Turturro. (People)

🎄Happy Holidays🎄 Love, your parents* ----- *in the late 70s/early 80s right after you were born and they were arguing on the low at the Christmas party then Terry's messy ass pulls out her damn camera, talmbout "You two lovebirds say cheese!"
