Grammy-winning rapper T.I. is watching his front and back. The hip-hop veteran has alerted fans about his current state of mind.
This week, the "King of the South" went to Instagram with a hilarious Jay Z meme to stress a point.
As of late, Tip's stayed busy landing a Showtime TV deal with comedian Kevin Hart.
In a competitive situation, The Studio, a music-themed office comedy from Kevin Hart, and rapper-actor Tip "T.I." Harris, has landed at Showtime for development. In addition to executive producing, Hart and T.I. are expected to make occasional guest appearances on the show, from Lionsgate TV. (Deadline)
Tip and Hart have previously worked together on multiple projects.
T.I. guest performed on Hart's hip-hop album Kevin Hart: What Now? (The Mixtape Presents Chocolate Droppa) and then made a surprise appearance in Hart's film Ride Along 2. (TV Guide)
Recently, T.I. talked about wrapping up his album-making after a few more releases.
He told The Associated Press in a recent interview that he expects to release an album revolving around "trap music" this year. He's released nine full-length albums so far, and says he has "two or three albums left in him." The 36-year-old added: "But it's definitely time to transition." (The Washington Post)
