Tupac Walked Out On Chance To Collab With Michael Jackson Because His 'Morals & Ethics' Were More Important Than A Feature, Says Outlawz Rapper Napoleon

It's no secret that Tupac Shakur didn't play about his respect-not even for Michael Jackson.

Outlawz rapper Napoleon (real name Mutah Beale) shared in an interview that Tupac Shakur walked out on a studio session to lay a verse for the King of Pop. His reason for doing so? Perceived disrespect.

Napoleon said,

"'Pac mentioned one time he was called to the studio to do a song for Michael Jackson, to lay a verse. He told his mother, his family, he was excited. He went to the studio and he's like, 'Where's Michael Jackson?' They said, 'Oh he can't come. They want you to lay the verse.' He got up and left. And that's Michael Jackson. He wasn't man enough to come say hi to me and speak to me? I don't want to get on his song.'"

According to Napoleon, Tupac Shakur valued morals and ethics over money. He added,

"It was more personal if he get on a record with you and stuff like that. He didn't really care about the money."

This isn't the first time Napoleon has spilled some Tupac tea in an interview.

Jada Pinkett Smith, Will Smith, Tupac

He previously shared that Jada Pinkett Smith asked the 'Keep Ya Head Up' rapper not to put his hands on her now-husband, Will Smith, when they initially started dating-a request that didn't sit well with the rapper.

Napoloen said,

"The second time I probably heard [Tupac] talk about [Jada] is when he went to LA. He was very upset. Pac came in the room [and] was like 'Jada, she gonna contact me and tell me don't do nothing to Will Smith.' Pac was upset, and said 'I don't know why she think I would have tried to make some problems with Will Smith. ' He had a lot of love for Jada Pinkett at the time."

Rumors have also swirled that Michael Jackson declined to do a song with Tupac out of respect for Notorious B.I.G. While there's no way to confirm any of the news regarding the late artists, Death Row Records singer Danny Boy (real name Daniel Steward) has said that's a straight up lie.

According to Danny Boy,

"Shut up, lies. I hate to be like that wasn't said, but I remember myself being in the meeting with Michael Jackson and the All Eyez on Me album being played for him, and Michael went crazy. So I don't see him saying he messed with Biggie and not 2Pac, or you know what I'm saying."
