GM Ryan Pace made a big decision to bring back the Monsters of The Midway, welcome to Chicago Khalil Mack.

The Monsters of the Midway are calling back home again!

The Chicago Bears had a nice offseason. With the eighth pick, the drafted Roquan Smithout of the University of Georgia (paid him), acquired former Jacksonville wide receiver Allen Robinson, Superbowl winning TE Trey Burton, and speedy receiver from the Falcons Taylor Gabriel. On top of that, the Bears took what may be one of the biggest threats at WR in the draft, which is Anthony Miller

Now, Chicago went full out to bring in the Oakland Raiders star Khalil Mack. Welcome to the Bears Khalil Mack. PictureIf Bears fans are doing cartwheels down the street, just let them. It's been a very tough decade of football in the Midway. Coaching and injury woes, the Jay Cutler era, coming up short in the NFC Championship game, retirement, and the list just goes on. Chicago is looking legitimacy right in the face. Ryan Pace, what an bold move. The next step is to pay Mack and hope the move pays off.

When you add a player like Khalil Mack, it just changes everything for a team like the Chicago Bears. First things first, this guy is a future HOF no doubt. Too big, too fast, and just too strong for opposing lineman. Adding him to an already solid front seven is just calling for an overkill. This secondary just got a lot more comfortable as well. More pressure on opposing QBs is coming. The Bears finished top 10 in sacks with no super standout pass rusher last season. That is changing with Mack coming into town. Chicago just made the move that narrowed the gap between their defense and Minnesota's defense. PictureJose Carlos Fajardo/Bay Area News GroupMack is the 2016 AP Defensive Player of the Year, a 3-time Pro Bowler, 2-time 1st-team All-Pro, 40.5 career sacks in 4 seasons. Plus you know availability is the best ability. He started all 64 games in 4 seasons with Oakland.

This team still has to bank on Trubisky tremendously this season, but he seems ready to take the role. It's more than enough weapons around him to connect with. You will never catch Mitch shying away from his young leadership role. Plus, the thunder and lightning strike, Jordan Howard and Tarik Cohen, will take a load off of Mitch in the backfield. Just watch out for this Chicago team. As for the Raiders, all I can say is good luck for now without your best player.

The Bears open up the season Sept. 9 on NBC's Sunday Night Football against their division rivals, the Green Bay Packers.
