Tom Petty Dies At 66 From Cardiac Arrest


Tom Petty has died after suffering cardiac arrest. The singer was found unconscious at his home in Malibu in the early hours of Monday morning and passed at 8:40 p.m. after being taken to UCLA Medical Center, according to Petty''s manager. 

Petty, whose Florida-bred quintet the Heartbreakers was one of the defining arena-rock acts of the 1970s with hits like "Breakdown," was 66.
