Napoleon Hill said, "Before success comes in any man's life, he's sure to meet with much temporary defeat and, perhaps some failures. When defeat overtakes a man, the easiest and the most logical thing to do is to quit. That's exactly what the majority of men do."

This was not the case for Shaliek Rivers.  When his deal with Universal Records didn't materialize as was supposed, rather than giving in, Shaliek fine-tuned his vocals and took to more learning.  What a blessing that turned out to be for all us music fans.  In 2011, Shaliek Rivers released his EP titled 'I Don't Wanna Be Famous' and the rest is sure to be history.
