According to TheUrbanDaily, rapper Ms. Melodie passed away. Ms. Melodie was the ex-wife of rapper KRS-ONE and was a member of Boogie Down Productions.
Ms. Melodie is widely known for her first single, "Hype" and her appearance in Boogie Down Productions video. Melodie is also the older sister of fellow former BDP member Harmony.
