This past week my travels took me to Portland, Oregon where I visited Nike's World Headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon (just outside Portland) for the first time.
I was invited to perform the song "Never Stop" which I created for ultra-endurance athlete Jason Lester earlier this year during his "journey 4 a better world" run across the U.S.
I performed on Wednesday morning in the Tiger Woods building to a crowd of 400 Nike retail managers and employees. It was a truly an amazing experience I will never forget.
I also had the pleasure of meeting Tim Hershey Nike GM while there. I was amazed at how down to earth and cool T.H. was upon meeting him. After the performance I found some time to take a tour of the Nike campus. It is truly an amazing place. Each building, named after a different athlete houses a shrine to that athlete.
The Michael Jordan building has a collection of Jordan kicks, rocked by Mike himself that spans 15 years in the lobby.
I snapped some pics, if you wanna check em out make sure you check out my Blog http://www.thekaoseffect.com
