Toronto Blue Jays' Vladimir Guerrero Jr. hit a 468-foot home run in the third inning, helping push the American League to a 5-2 win over the National League on Tuesday night in the 2021 MLB All-Star Game. With the win, the AL has now won eight consecutive All-Star Games, improving its overall record to 46-43 against the NL.
For his efforts, which also included driving in another run via a groundout in the fifth, Guerrero Jr. became the youngest All-Star Game MVP in MLB history at 22 years, 119 days. After Tuesday night, the Guerreros joined the Bonds (Bobby and Barry) and the Griffeys (Ken Sr. and Ken Jr.) as the only father-son duos to hit home runs in the All-Star Game.
