White Sox vs. Yankees - Aaron Judge remembers watching Giancarlo Stanton from a distance during his 2017 NL MVP season. "It was special," he said. The tear Stanton is on now has a familiar feel. Stanton homered in his third consecutive game, Judge went deep for the second time in two nights and the New York Yankees beat the Chicago White Sox 10-4 on Friday. Stanton set the Yankees on course for their 19th win in 22 games when he smacked a two-run drive in the first inning against Vince Velasquez (2-3). Cubs vs. Diamondbacks - The Arizona Diamondbacks played a ton of one-run games last season and lost most. This year's team is built to not only survive, but thrive in tight games. They did it again Friday night. Ketel Marte had three hits and drove in a run, Zach Davies pitched effectively into the sixth inning and the Diamondbacks beat the Chicago Cubs 4-3 for their seventh win in one-run games after finishing 10-31 last season.
