Be careful who you vent to

We all experienced a time where we found ourselves venting to people who we thought had our best interest. Sometimes venting to a individual can make you feel better or worse, it all depends who you vent to. I'm not saying you shouldn't vent to people, I'm just here to say be careful.

Most people have a good way of pretending they care, but deep down they don't give a damn about your feelings . For some odd reason most people don't like seeing others happy, and that's because they're unhappy. You never know what people may be dealing with at the time you call yourself feeding them your problems, so my best advice is to keep most things to yourself.

My experience
: Don't get me wrong I do share certain information to people who I think may have my best interest, but the key word is "I THINK". I talk to certain people depending on what I may be going through. For example; if I'm going through relationship problems I like to talk to older women and someone who's married. I find it very important to at least have one friend who can be your own mother or father, because they give the best advice. I'm also someone who likes to write in my journal to get over certain situations, or write about how I'm feeling at that moment, very therapeutic. But most importantly I'm learning to only talk to God. He's the only one I trust with all my issues and concerns.

So to be honest venting is cool, but praying, reading and writing can help you go a long way. At the end of the day when we vent to people we already know the damn answer so why the hell we need confirmation on something we already know.
