Meek Mill Enforces Zero Tolerance Policy For Percocets: I'm Not Gonna Risk My Life To Get High

Meek Mill wants everyone to know, 'no high is worth his life.'

Meek Mill, 34, is getting candid about his previous drug use and his decision to steer clear of it. In a recent interview on Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast, the Philly rapper shared that he now has a zero-tolerance policy for Percocets.

In his interview, Meek Mill said,

"That s*** is fentanyl. If you take percs right now, you an a*******. You can die off of just trying to get high, kill half your brain cells in your mind just by trying to get high."

He added,

"Nine times out of 10, when you get a Percocet off the street, it's probably gonna be a hit-up Perc. They got tests on the Instagram. We ain't trying to do all that to get high, man."

The rapper's zero-tolerance policy is in large part to increasing threat of fentanyl, a deadly opioid that has claimed the lives of celebrities like rapper Mac Miller and actor Michael K. Williams.

Meek Mill also reflected on his previous addiction to Percocets, confessing to taking almost 10 pills a day. He said,

"I ain't no get-high n****. I did percs before in my life, got addicted and I been on percs before fentanyl came out, but still it was, like, an always-open door. If I wanted to do it, I'd just do it on my own. Now that s*** is a zero tolerance."

He continued,

"I don't give a f*** about getting high, I'm not gonna risk my life to get high. You can die. You can have a bad Perc f*** your head up."

Although the Dreams and Nightmares rapper has a zero-tolerance policy for pills, he also said he enjoys weed every now and then. He explained,

"The most I'ma do is smoke some weed and sip some liquor, and I ain't even trying to smoke weed 'cause I be tweaking on that. I be paranoid, all types of s***. I'm half-way slow when I get on the weed, but I rap good."

Meek Mill's new album, Expensive Pain, was released on Friday, Oct. 1st, 2021. He elaborated on how weed helped saying,

"It unlocked the real art side of me, really new flows, new melodies, being more vulnerable, more personal. I think the people going to be able to identify when they hear this album. I got a lot of energy but I'm not screaming on a lot of records. You can hear me more clear because I'm expressing myself."
